Qusetion about dark kabuto? (GSL spoilers kinda xD)

in the movie his name is Souji Tendou and he saves little souji and hiyori and tells tendou to take care of her , but in the series dark kabuto is named Souji Kusakabe and hes fighting normal kabuto, so then whats up with that?

There is no Dark Kabuto in the movie. Kusakabe Souji is and always was Tendou's real name. "Tendou" was the family name that Juka's part of, "Kusakabe" is the family name for Hiyori, and since she and Tendou are siblings, it makes sense for them to have the same last name.

yes i know but in the movie he said his last name is tendou, but in the show it goes back to Kusakabe what i dont understand is why it switch around and is dark souji, GSL souji thats what i dont understand

I used to think what you're thinking, but after seeing the movie it's fairly obvious that gsl tendou is not dark kabuto. Here's my original reasoning:

What I'm about to reveal is part of GSL's ending, so you better not flame me for this, cause you asked for it in a way...

[HIDE]At the end of GSL, the future Tendou disappears, because by taking the second meteor from his time to 1999 before the first meteor hit, and crashing the two into one another that creates the Shibuya meteor that causes the events of the TV show, Tendou has changed history, meaning everything that happened in the movie's timeline never happened in the TV show's timeline. Thus, anything that happened to the characters in the movie never happened in the TV show. [/HIDE]

That should explain that Dark Kabuto is NOT the Souji from GSL.

Now as for the reason for Dark Kabuto bearing the name Souji Kusakabe, do keep in mind that this Souji is...

...which means that he only lives to protect Hiyori, his real little sister. And as for Souji Tendou, of course, his name is actually Souji Kusakabe as well, but he was adopted by the Tendou household, giving him the adopted last name "Tendou"

Easy, the movie and the series aren't connected. Episode 41 makes that clear.

ohh zro that makes sence and blue yes i know they arnt conected but ppl kept saying that dark kabuto was souji from GSL so then i got mixed up thanks for clearing it up guys

and what about the dark zector or that hasnt been cleared up in the show yet?

We still don't know the origins of Dark Kabuto's powers, probably won't for a while.

They never cloned the belt, they probably just built more of them. If we go by what is shown in Ep. 48, Kusakabe Souji/Dark Kabuto was just a random human boy that was kidnapped by the Natives. He became the first human that was changed into Native. He was then made to mimic Tendou Souji (who by birth is really Kusakabe Souji).
