WTTG, the
Fox affiliate in
Washington, D.C. has reported that Calvert used an inhaler for acute
asthma and, pending official toxicology results, this condition could have caused his death.
[17][18] The official statement issued by the band says that Calvert died in his sleep and his body was discovered while the band was doing a sound check prior to a show in Detroit.
