Question about Sub-Groups

The only time I have a problem with TVN leaving a Japanese word untranslated is if they translated it in prior episodes and stop translating it (like in Ryukendo, in the first 15 or so episodes, Kenji's name for Fudou was translated as "Old man," then afterwards, they just left it as "Ossan" in the subs). That gets confusing. Otherwise, I don't mind.

^This does a perfect job of explaining why so many detest TV-Nihon other than the fact that they take forever and a day to put anything out because they're working on half a zillion series at once

Plus, there's no reason for it other to demonstrate that they have a knowledge of Japanese formal titles that non-speaking viewers don't. If they're trying to boast a deeper understanding of the language then they should just release raws and post blogs about how they can decipher them and other people can't.
