I grew up in a small town. I liked music but it was never a strong influence. In high school I picked up acoustic guitar. At that point, I learned to love Jackson Browne, Dan Fogelberg, James Taylor, John Denver... and that gang. I know, it seems like a pretty dull crowd, but I really enjoyed them. They seemed like real people, not the pretentious, over-marketed pop bands.
