Question about Amazonjp pre-orderings

That was another question aswell. I'm going to Pre-order the W Returns/Movie Core War/Gosei vs. Shinken/ etc.... I'm just kinda worried that pre-ordering too early...they might loose my order or some ****. Which is why I've been pre-ordered a week before the releases up to this point.

You're talking about a huge international company like Amazon. I doubt they will "lose" your pre-order or "some ****". Plus, this is Amazon Japan... which I'm sure is way better than Amazon US or CA.

I have never had a long-term preorder on either Yesasia or CDJapan get "lost". They have a database, it automatically does whatever it needs to. Plus, CDJapan customer service is pretty quick if you want to change something about your orders.

I've ordered movies from Amazon Japan and like Amazon.com, it let's you choose if you want to wait until all your items are released or to ship them as soon as they become available. But if you choose to ship as they become available, they will charge extra shipping.
However, when I pre-ordered all 5 Kakuranger dvds from them in one order, I chose to ship them all together when thay were all released, but for some reason they shipped each one on their release date and they didn't charge me extra shipping.

Alright I had a question, I'm going to be buying all of the Rider Blu-ray movies next week and also pre-ordering A-Z W Forever & Goseiger Epic movie Blu-rays. Those 2 don't come out until Jan 21st, now my question is... if I order everything together will Amazonjp NOT ship out my entire order until the A-Z & Gosei Movies are out aswell or will they ship them seperatley (sending out 1st back which would be all of the blu-rays in stock, and then a 2nd shipment which would be the 2 movies out on jan 2st?) automaticlly without me having to request that?.

If they do end up holding everything until the pre-ordered movies are in stock, how would I go about making my order so that I get the availible ones ASAP and then the Pre-ordered ones when they eventually come out?. Would I just make 2 seperate orders? (1st order = availible movies, 2nd order = pre-orders)?.

Amazon prides more on getting orders out than costs. If you order items that are both in stock and pre-order, they will ship all "in stock" items unless one of the pre-orders comes out in about a week or so. When the pre-orders come out, they will ship those as they come out. All you have to do is choose the "group my items into as few shipments as possible" and they will ship as they become available for international purchasers. Whatever you choose you'll get them as they are released; it'll just cost more for the "ship as they become available" option.

I've had items on pre-order for about 8 months before and they'll ship them on time, so don't worry about them losing your order.

the only thing that could happen is if the product gets delayed they will cancel the order at the current price Until the product comes out ... I've had that happen with amazon with I book I ordered was delayed release for a year because they decided to add stuff to it & make it better ... They will generally email you though & tell you what is going on... I don't know though how you would be able to read emails from amazon jp if they send them in japanese or whatever ... lol

All those sites I just mentioned, how long do they normally take to confirm ur order and take the payment from ur visa?.

AmazonJP confirms the order rather quickly and they will charge your visa when they ship your order. They only charge for the items that they ship if theres more items that will be released later on the same order.

CDJapan usually puts a hold on my card but doesn't take the money till the order ships. I can't remember how Yesasia does it, it's been a while since I ordered with them. (I usually only order photobooks from them.)
