Good movie, but it wasn't anything great. Ray Stevenson was kickass as the Punisher, though he still not my ideal choice for this type of role, but he still delivered. Also, he really needs to work on his american accent. :laugh:

I may pick this up on dvd. :thumbs:

I read the MAX series before seeing the movie then read it again and found it resemble it alot.

Ah that explains it. Its kind of cool how each Punisher actor represents a different part of the Punisher shown in different eras. Stevenson is pretty Liefeld I must say.

Anyway I watched it, the action scenes were nice and it was nowhere near as gory as what the Red Band trailer made the film out to be. I was very disappointed that the Lobster kill did not make it into the opening. Its definitely more "action packed" than the previous two Punisher films. But being an action packed extravaganza does not make it an amazing film. I found it average at best, I still prefer the Dolph version and maybe the Jane version only a tiny bit more.
