No, not Nolan's Batman, but Batman in general. The whole flip-flopping between being sad over losing everything precious then immediately turning into a cold hearted killer for justice. Just felt a little unnatural to me.
If this is how the comics are, then I'm glad they did them justice. I just can't shake the feeling that maybe they could have gone with a better story that lured you in more or kept your attention. Because, like Drakkhenden said, it just felt like an excuse to blow **** up and kill people in epic battle scenes. Sure, we see that The Punisher lost everything precious to him, but then it just immediately switches over to him killing bad guys without doing anything plot-related to make us feel like his actions are really justified, nor so they do anything to actually make us WANT to see him win outside of more epic battle scenes.
But, again, this is just coming from someone who never read the comics. I'm just basing my thoughts on more of a story-telling stand point, I was hoping to see something that would endear to the story or the characters. I didn't get that from this movie, but perhaps you'd have to get it from the comics to better appreciate this movie. I don't know.
