PSP Update Question

Insted of updating to Firmware 2.80 from the pc, can you use the internet on the PSP and updated from there?

Thanks in advance.:buttrock:

Wow, bro. Chill out, I'd help but I don't own a PSP so I have no idea what you're talking about. Why not give it a day, not everyone is on the same time schedule as you are. Why don't you PM that guy that helped RSR getting vids on his PSP, he seems to be the resident PSP expert.

Damn. It was what, like five hours?

Most people here are Nintendo fan boys any ways, and after that attitude, those who do have PSPs probably wouldn't want to help. :rolleyes2:

But yes. You can. But don't go to the internet option, go to the upgrade option. I think that's what it's called any ways.

I have that "so called" attitute because no one answered this: http://forums.henshinjustice.net/showthread.php?t=9147
and it's been there for quite a while.

I still need help figuring out the configurations of the PSP internet.

I honestly think I've accidently used someone else's IP address for my own. I don't know what I'm doing, I say!

And again, most of the people here don't care for the PSP. Also, the questions you are asking can easily be answered by using google.

Do you go manually? I always enter my stuff manually, check out the IP settings on your computer (windows, Start, Run, Cmd, type ipconfig /all). You'll get the DNS and IP address and stuff.

Now, you should have a private IP, my guess would be something like 192.168.0.xx, just enter that in but change the last octet to something random... And enter all the rest in that it asks for.

If you are connecting to random access points, then good luck. I can never get on any of those.
