It feels more like a American Adaptation in Ways. Seriously there is no Japanese Characters for one. Tokusatsu always have them unless they are non Japanese like Armor Hero.

Well I don't think a toku necessitates Japanese characters. The only reason characters are Japanese is because it's a Japanese genre created by Japanese people. There is no rule saying every Marvel and DC hero and villain has to be American, even though many of them are.

I don't want to throw in Japanese characters simply for the sake of it. And like you just said, shows like Armor Hero aren't Japanese-made and yet they're considered "toku". This is a non-Japanese story. One of my other fics, Hell Rider, does feature Japanese characters, if that is what you prefer.
