Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - TALK BACK(SPOILER)

Yep Europe got it earlier again.

So its late but ive seen it this last saturday.

Im not going to write a full review but just express my opinion.

Story wise, i say its good for a summer movie. It wasnt amazing or outstanding it wasnt bad either its just fine.

Special Fx you have to decide for yourself since i didnt pay much attention to that. Yeah im dead serious i realy didnt give much of a damn.

Now the Cast, i have mixed feeling when i went to see it. I didnt realy agree on the cast. You know the same argument.
Honestly as much as i like Jake as an actor, and want to bang Gemma Atterton one day. The casting just felt out of place.
Its hard to indentify them as iranians or persians.
There were moments in the movie it felt like a eurpean fantasy movie taking place in a exotic land.

But over all i would give the atleast a 4/5 because the rest wasnt realy that bad. The casting couldve been better.

Thats not something you can ask me cause im not familliar with the game. I just express my opinion about the movie sorry.

just saw it tonight. A lot of reviews are claiming the movie isn't climactic. On average, a review might say that the movie is good but doesn't draw any surprise or expectation. One review likened it to scooby doo.

I just wonder wtf were they watching? I thought it was great. It's not the best movie of the year or nothing, I'm not trying to overhype it. But I enjoyed it and the plot did progressively build up to a nice, dramatic showdown.

So...is it a video game movie that doesn't suck? Hmmm.:sweat:

I saw the movie and it was pretty good. In a way, it was pretty faithful to the game. The prince DID sound british in the game. Great action scenes, a couple of homages to previous games and maybe even an accidental homage to Assassins Creed (at least thats how I saw it). Overall, its a fun summer movie. The only problem I have is that they gave the Prince a name.

Despite the fact of having "Disney" attach to the title.:laugh:

Maybe they should do a PG-13 Kingdom Hearts or something.:sweat:

I actually really enjoyed the film, I was expecting it to suck.

If you want to be nitpicky there are things to pick at, but in all seriousness the film is enjoyable and probably the best Game adaption I've seen for a long time.

Disney DOES make great movies, despite what the PR fans want to believe. I mean Tron Legacy anyone? Thats gonna be bad ass.

I'd say this was an amazing video game movie

I agree, that Disney does make great movies. But lately it's a case of miss rather than hit. Plus I can understand the PR fandom for hating on Disney, the franchise was treated like an abused foster child.
