well i only liked the team up episodes like reinforcements from the future
and forever red they were really cool but the wild force rangers wernt
as cool as the time force rangers nor the ninja storm rangers at all
cole is ok but not as bad as conner , conner made want to shoot out a hoping
side kick and take his dino morpher and become red dino ranger and fight
along side tommy, but cole was good fighter and had a good back story.

Well, good to know there are Wild Force fans out there...I'll watch it when I get to it. It's just that...well...is Cole always as annoying as he is in Forever Red? 'Cause he's really really REALLY annoying in that episode.

No. Cole was a good Red Ranger I don't know why people bag on him and Carter like they do. Wild Force was an excellent but sad end to that Generation of Power Rangers. I suggest you watch the entire series, it'll be even more killer if you haven't seen Gaoranger yet either. Lots of stuff happens in Wild Force.

Along with Lightspeed Rescue, Wild Force is one of the most under-rated seasons.

Dude, I gotta respectfully disagree with you about Cole. That whole "Jungle Boy" nonsense with him just soured me on him completely. Would it have been so terrible to make him an animal doctor like Kakeru(GaoRed)? I mean, the writers kept the mental empathy with animals that they both had intact--why go the Tarzan route?

Tarzan route seems more fun and fantastic. If you're going to be empathetic... why not go all the way?

And why retread what's already been done?

I liked Cole and his Monkey Fu style.... Taylor's one of my favorite Power Ranger females next to Jen.... I eventually found the two dorks funny... I liked Merrick's story.... I'm not quite sure why I didn't fully like it.

I wish they'd gone with the Promo Song as their theme. I have that on a CD. :jam:

Hmmm.... maybe I didn't feel like Cole commited himself to the role? I hear that he didn't like being a Power Ranger, actually.

I think maybe it was too Zord intensive. I really hate it when they go overboard with how many Zords they fit into a series. I'm definately not about the "gotta catch 'em all" mentality and it wasn't 'til Dekaranger that I liked Zord battles at all in the first place.

I also like Superior Tech versus magic stuff.... GREAT crossovers and GREAT finale... liked the villians... good stories... great resolutions...

I think I will meditate on this subject to find what I didn't like about the show.

Well, they couldn't really do much with the mecha-intensity thing since Gao was the 25th anniversary sentai and as a result, they were pushing the Power Animal toys like there was no tomorrow. Probably more than any other series did at the time.

But then, the 30th anniversary's just around the corner, so...

I think some people found Cole annoying because he was really out there. He shouted and really posed with alot of energy. He had alot of energy and sometimes would just exert too much energy into a scene. Like in Forever Red. He didnt just say "stop" He had to stop moving, throw out his arm in a pose-like manner then shout "stop!!". lol. It never bothered me. I love that about him. And like Keith said, noone liked Carter cause he was such a damn robot. But he had some good moments of emotion.

I kinda liked the Zord theme of the series. It made a huge impact when Animus took them away and Shayla collapsed on the ground in a deep sleep because of it. I got tingles in the back of my neck during that.

I think Wild Force gave me alot of Tingles that season. So did TimeForce. Excellent season. Wild Force had its share of problems. I noticed alot of Sentai Footage errors and they got sloppy near the end. and the finale was a mixed bag for me. I loved part 1. But part 2. I wasnt too fond of.

Not to mention the voices of Goldar and Rito returned to do a monster this season. And the team up episodes.
