Power Rangers Vs. Ninja Turtles=Good Idea?

[NinjaJack]

Just a question that's been on my mind since around SPD. do you think that similar to games like Marvel Vs Capcom or Super Robot Wars and in the tradition
of Jimmy and Timmy hour, should the Rangers and shellbacks meet up in some kind of super blow out special event/game/movie? I think it's about time the two franchises with so much in common should link up.

Here's the ticket

MMPR vs TMNT

Both playmates and bandai start selling double packs of classic characters in fresh molds.

A cross promotional event with Cartoon Network and JETIX showcasing the biggest episodes, the four TMNT movies and the two PR movies.
A video game is launched by the folks being the TMNT game.
A special direct to DVD animated movie is launched where the turtles go to NZ and the Rangers wind up in 2k3 TMNT.

Somehow Shredder takes on Zedd and Splinter and Zordon discuss eachother's mentoring skills to their teenage heroes.

All fans end the event/movie or game happy:thumbs:

One can dream

MMPR teamed with Masked Rider...PRiS teamed with TMNT:NM...I think the whole crossover thing is done...for now.

You know it's sad when the Turtles were written better in PRiS than they were in their own show.

Same can be said about Masked Rider.:sly:

[Forever Knight]

I think it's an awesome idea for kids and collectors.

Power Rangers still > and will forever > TMNT though.

[Z-Unit]

Wouldnt the rangers win every time? They're at an advantage with their weapons and zords.

[Forever Knight]

They are just so much cooler overall anyway, with the exception of the first 2 TMNT movies.

TMNT 1 was fucking amazing.

:buttrock:

[SaikoDragon]

It wouldnt be a bad idea. Does Jetix even own any distribution rights over the TMNT cartoons? But cmon, the PR would obviously win.

[NinjaJack]

No if the rules are simple

-No Zords, unless Donnie busts something out

-Turtles have faced plenty of laser fire before

-The Turtles mutation, I'm guessing from watching all the shows, give them the same muscle capabilities and speed as the Rangers.

Turtles actually took on the "Rangers" in a one shot issue that I can't seem to find yet.

The Rangers would see the Turtles as monsters and the Turtles would see the Rangers as some kind of assault team from Shredder.

So aside from the small fact that the Rangers carry guns this should be an even fight.

[Forever Knight]

Nonetheless... Rangers > Turtles.
