I only speak out because I do think there's good eggs on this forum that understand the need for clarity. Keith himself has gotten into "scraps with me, Funaro, 'Stack, over his beleifs on what PR should be...but what I admire the most about him is that he's enough of a man to know this show isnt worth slapping anyone on the wrist for in those kinds of conversations. I like we have people like him who stick to their guns, however flawed they might be IMO, and rebounds with a tolerable attitude, awaiting the next day where we may converse as equals and buddies again

I hate that we likely will always have to deal with the sheep who are never going to "get" that their grudges are years old and nobody remembers them nor wants to hear them...if they've got something to say, keep it out of threads about the series, because the series matters more than whenever thier dumb-as-**** for brains got kicked out of a forum or burned by a mod.

The fact of the matter is that we shouldn't make an issue out of board to board politics. It's really stressful and wastes time and bandwidth.

If the Rangers are our only hope they better not wallow in self-pity and become prey to hopelessness!

You might not like how goofy Go-onger is but Sousuke's got gar! He NEVER gives up and he's rubbed off on the other Go-onger (i.e. when they took on Yogostein WITHOUT their Change Soul!). I want a Red Ranger like him, one who says 'no matter how many times you knock me down I'll always get up! I'll get up again and again to fight harder until you lose!' and not just at the end.

Yeah I'd agree to that. I dont know about Go Onger but even though I hated Boukenger, I loved the fact that the red ranger was a commanding, confident leader who got the job done and managed his team professionally.

It was very nice to see from a red ranger in sentai.

I would love to see that sometime on PR in the same way. I do like those "Im not fit" episodes, though. It shows us that these rangers are human and arent perfect. Sometimes we are given responsibilities we never wanted. These responsibilities get in the way of their dreams or activities; Or in some cases, like with Casey, the red ranger is a rookie who is leading a team of experts in the field. Anyone would feel inadequate in that situation.

I loved the Jack red ranger episode because he didnt wallow in self pity; the episode focused more on him learning to become a better leader.

:buttrock: Sousuke is really awesome that way. I can list a bunch of things he's done that were just completely awesome (Taking out the Vacuum monster with a Rock, Taking down Hiramechimedes, Taking on 2 giant monsters without his mech, taking out Yogostein, not taking **** from the wings, and so on...) but that's an issue for the Go-Onger thread. :anime: He really lead more by example than with his words, but I really like that in a Leader. In a lot of ways that makes him more like Chiefu than a Ban, or Kai, or other loud mouthed reds.

I hate the angst fest episodes too, but only because they are very predictable by now. Most the last few seasons have been pretty much the same flow of plots with different characters and suits. So hopefully with the changes for RPM, they'll break out of that pattern again.

The only thing good about Sosuke is his suit actor. Other then that he annoys the **** out of me.

Hiroto is really the only character I can stand. Miu & Kagereshia aswell because of their sex.

I really do have some high hopes for RPM.

But more importantly is this EP being fired and replaced thing true?... If so this really pissed me off already, just watch me love the beginning of RPM and then BAM... Idiot-fest like Go-Onger. :shakefist

Tons of other Sentai Red's have had GUTS and courage and didn't need to act like they were 3 years old in the process of a leading a team in saving the Earth.
