Well if the "cartoonish" elements were anything like the fly commentator from Gekiranger/Jungle Fury, then it'll likely be something that's easily tolerable. They'll find a way of minimising the cheese, or make it work for them. The latter portion of Turbo did this, but it did often have to surrender to it.

RPM's production difficulties might not have happened if Sentai would've cut them a break on the camp. From what I can gather, the fired producer probably refused to let go of his vision when Marchand and others, experianced enough with the pitfalls of comedy Sentai, pointed out that it was impossible to sustain it

The look of a character really doesn't mean to much if the storyline is solid and isn't a goof-fest. Look at Sensei Watanabe, the CGI looked better then Hurricanger's but Hurricanger still CRUSHED PRNS.

To me the cheese looking characters are fine. Bae looks cheese, so did the Kensei but look how killer Gekiranger was.

It's also detremental to the thread, which is about the upcoming season, a season RB members have strived to deliver information on as diligently as anyone. What is this erection you have for them? RB doesnt treat anyone that understands it with contempt...because those who do respect it arent content to stay the age of five years old

RB knows more about Tokusatsu AND PR than you give them credit for, and THAT'S why they get all the perks of the fandom where as this place just lingers in contemptable jealously over it

Lengthy reply to FK short post there Skyknight. Is he really deserving of all that venom in there? I can't speak for Keith or anyone else onboard here but I can certainly tell you a few things from this Ninja's perspective.
There is a certain draw to this place, a liberality and brotherhood. HJU has pulled off many many feats other fan boards wish they could accomplish.
Rangerboard has alot of fandom perks, but I purpose to ask which fandom? Rangerboard is obviously dedicated to PR but HJU has a reach into Kamen Rider, comics and other heroic venues.

Henshin Justice is a Kamen Rider and Toku first board, PR second. Rangerboard is the other way around. We are bound to disagree on policies just as we will disagree in taste.

There is no need for you to come in here like that except to openly call out FK into a fight. And we don't tolerate open flame wars here.

Yep. But there's no reason to think they'll retcon RPM into "present day" too.

It's not new G.K. I've been in "RB suckz" conversations before on this place, usually it's instigated by the same brand of idiots that drag this place's name through the mud. I don't like being part of it, but being a member of HJU AND RB usually lends me to try and defend the reps of both communities, it's pros and cons, but more and more I'm finding very little to defend about this place as a PR fan or a casual Toku fan. I just see a lot of raw, culturally intolerant ignorance, and people who seemingly want a forum war when there's no need for one. RB didnt deserve that dig, RB didnt deserve to be brought up snidely and throw the discussion off-topic.
