Power Rangers Fan Commentaries

Has anyone ever thought of producing commentary tracks for Power Rangers episodes? I think we could do with a few for ones like "Forever Red". "Doomsday", "Force from the Future" etc, having a good time pointing out glaring flaws or showcasing how much we know about the story/season.

A few TMNT fans are doing this with the 1987 and 2003 cartoons, and the UK DVD releases of the original He-Man cartoon have superfans commentating on select episodes. I think it's a worthwhile creative exercise.

It'd be hard to get together a group of people the fandom would agree with having on the panel. We're so small that everybody knows everybody, and everybody has a problem with at least one of the supposed "experts."

True, the fandom can get quite volitile over these things, which is probably why it's best to agree on neutral, "laid back" types that arent going to get too emotionally attached to things.

Is this like "Let;'s Plays" but instead of playing a video game you're watching TV show?

That'd be great, but don't we have to be in the same place to do so? This fandom is generally spread out all over half the world or more, for christ's sake.

I'm guessing it would be done over skype while we all watch the same episode at the same time.
