This is a fanfiction that I wrote back in 2004 I just went and edit and rewrote most of the first chapter. I don't own Power Rangers I only own the characters.
Power Rangers Animal Force: Episode 1 The Beginning

Act 1
Scene 1
Setting: We see a planet that looks the same as Earth. We enter the planet and see a beautiful part of the planet the long green grass, the sparkling water the animals that look like Earth’s deer and bears run free in this beautiful planet. A animal that looks like Earth’s deer goes and takes a drink from the sparkling water when a blast comes from the sky that nearly hits this animal but makes a hole right beside the animal. The animal is scared and runs away. More blasts are fired from the sky and being to destroying this beautiful planet. We look upwards and see a man but as a skeleton pointing his hands forward.
Skeleton being: “You won’t get away my dear friend”Â
We see a blur then a person is standing there.
Male being: “Who said anything about me trying to get away Skelator?”
Skelator: “Well Lantis you are the kind of person to just attack me and run away”
Lantis: “You maybe right old friend about me having a habit of running away from a fight but I’m unable to stop you here. I will continue to the next planet to find the chosen ones to defeat you once and for all.”
Skelator: “Well Lantis even if you do find the chosen one’s on the next planet they won’t be able to stop me. Nothing can stop me.” *Evil laugh*
Lantis turns into a ball of blue light and travels of the planet that was just the battlefield between Lantis and Skelator.
Skelator: “Oh old friend don’t think you’ll ever be rid of me”
Skelator turns into a ball of red light as he follows Lantis to the next planet
Scene 2
Setting: On the planet of Earth we go to a building that looks like a mansion as we go through the doors we see teenagers in uniforms walking around the halls.
Male being: “Hey everyone look there’s a new kid in the classroom”Â
Female being: “Really? What’s their name?”Â
Male being: “I heard his name is Alex Bailey and he got transferred here from a public school because he was a bully not only to the student but also the teachers as well”Â
In this mansion like building the bell rings and all the students go to their classrooms the students that are in the class with the new kid sits down in their seats and start attacking him with paper balls and paper airplanes. The students in the classroom with Alex the new kid do this for about five minutes; the new kid doesn’t do anything but just sit and take the assault from the other students. Then a student walks into the classroom he is a male about 5’6”, wearing the male uniform a red vase with a white shirt underneath and black pants with black shoes. As one of the students throws another paper ball at the new kid the male stops it before it hits him.
Male being: “Guys what have I told you about throwing paper balls, paper airplanes or anything at anyone?”Â
Female being: “Geez Brad you always ruin the fun. We’re hurting him just playing around. But we’ll stop. Sorry new kid”
Brad: “Thank you for stopping and apologizing”
Brad sits in the empty desk next to the new kid and turns facing sideways to the new kid. Brad puts his hand out towards the new kid.
Brad: “Hi I’m Brad Davis, sorry about the other guys they just do that to show off they are usually nice people”Â
New kid: “It’s alright that usually happens to me it starts with the rumours then the paper balls then no one wants to hang around me because they say I’ve done something that I’ve never done. I’m sorry I forgot to introduce myself; my name is Alex Bailey” Â
Brad: “Well Alex I promise you one thing that is going to change here at Middleton High School I can promise you’re going to make loads of friends and there will be no rumours or objects being threw at you. So let’s just forget what just happen and start off fresh so Alex to start with this new fresh start off I would to be your first friend at Middleton High”
Alex: “Awesome. Thanks Brad”
Act 2
Scene 1
In space we see the balls of lights that is Skelator and Lantis traveling at high speeds towards the planet Earth. Lantis ball of light picks up speed and descends into Earth’s atmosphere and start to land in the city of Middleton. As Lantis lands he transforms back into his physical form.
Lantis (speaking to himself): “I see that Skelator is gone for now but knowing him he’s close by and scheming some evil plan. But until then I need to find the chosen ones of this planet”
Lantis starts to explore the ton that he has landed in; Lantis walks by houses, apartment buildings and two corner stores when he starts to come up to the local high school and starts to feel something never before.
Lantis (speaking to himself) “What is this strange feeling? Could it be? I must investigate” Â
Lantis starts to walk up to the local high school to investigate the strange feeling as he gets to the entrance of the school he sees that there is a gate that is closed.
Lantis: (Saying to himself): “The door is locked I could always teleport onto the other side but my powers are weak from battling Skelator and traveling to this planet”
With the feeling of tiredness from Lantis sits down on the sidewalk near the entrance to the high school to rest until the gate opens and he can investigate more.
Lantis waits and rests time goes by and the gates finally open and the students of the school start to pour out and start to walk home either by their selves or with their friends while others walk to the buses that will take them home. As the crowd of students start to minimize Lantis gets the strange feeling again but even stronger than before. Lantis turns his head to see a boy standing in the entrance.
Lantis: “Um…excuse me boy. Could you come here”
Alex: “What’s up old man? Need help? Nice costume but it’s a little early for Halloween”
Lantis: “Who are you calling old? And this isn’t a costume it is an ancient ceremonial robes. What is this thing you call Halloween?” Â
Alex: “Sorry. Halloween…you know the day in October when you get dress up and go get free candy from people around the neighbourhood. But take it you’re not from here.”
Lantis: “No I’m not from this planet and I need your help. An evil lord name Skelator has followed me here to this planet to destroy it and take the people of this planet hostage to become either his slaves or part of his army. I need you to help me stop him before he destroys yet another planet”
Alex: “Um…okay. I’ve heard weirder things. So how do I help then?”
Lantis: “There is a legend from here I’m from that tells of 5 heroes who will be chosen by the powers of the animals and elements to stop Skelator. And I believe that you are one of those five.
Alex: “Okay. Well I believe you and want to help just let me know how”
Lantis goes behind his robes and pulls out an oval device and hands it to the boy.
Lantis: “Now before we get any farer I must know your name”
Alex: “Okay. My name is Alex Bailey”
Lantis: “It’s nice to meet you Alex my name is Lantis and the device I just gave you is the animal morpher with this you’ll be able to transform into a warrior by the name of power ranger with the elemental power of fire and the power of the lion”
Alex: “Awesome. Now um…what’s next?”
Lantis: “All you need to do now is attach it to your wrist”
Alex attaches the morpher onto his wrist once attached it glows bright red then dies down then as Alex looks up from the morpher a ball of red light lands in front of Alex and Lantis where the ball transformers into Skelator.
Lantis: “Ah Skelator I see that you made it”
Skelator: “Yes, the trip was just so nice. The planet you’ve picked this time Lantis so full of life and so many humans for me to use in my army. And what do we have here not only do I get to defeat you Lantis but also a human boy. How splendid!”
Lantis: “Oh I wouldn’t count on anyone being defeated today Skelator. Alex are you ready to help me?”
Alex: “Yeah. If it will stop this crazy guy from taking over the Earth”
Lantis: “Okay Alex all you have to do is say fire lion”
Alex: “Right. Fire Lion”
Scene 2: Red Ranger Morphing Sequence
We see a background of fire where Alex is standing then we see Alex as a red light being then there is a flash and a red suit appears on Alex. Alex puts out his hands and white gloves come out and a white boots with red around the tops come onto his feet and a gold belt wraps around his waist then out of the fire jumps a lion covered in flames then it jumps at Alex and goes through him and a helmet with the shape of a lion on it appears.
Scene 3
Alex: “Whoa! This is amazing I’ve never felt anything like this before. Okay skeleton brains let’s get the party started”
Skelator: “Ah! So you’re one of the chosen one’s that I’ve heard Lantis speak about before. Shouldn’t be too hard to defeat you”
Alex: “It’s on”
Alex runs towards Skelator and turns a few pouches and kicks and even does a full round kick but everything is being blocked by Skelator.
Alex: “Lantis I need some help”
Lantis: “Alex enable to awaken your true power of both element and animal you must focus until that power comes to you then you will be able to defeat Skelator”
Alex closes his eyes and focus on both the power of the lion and the elemental power of fire. Alex feels both burning inside of him as the words of the attack comes to him; Alex opens his eyes with a new determination to defeat Skelator
Alex: “Take this you bag of bones”
Alex points out his hand palm facing Skelator as a flame starts to appear out of nowhere Alex brings back his arm and then push it towards Skelator with all his might
Alex: “LION FIRE BLAST”Â
Alex fired a huge blast of fire at Skelator that had the shape of a lion as it hit Skelator and blasted him back and damaged him bad.
Skelator: “You’ll pay for that fire warrior. You may have won the battle but the war is only beginning”
Skelator transformers back into the ball of red light and flies away into the distance.
Lantis: “You did very well Alex for your first battle. To demorph all you have to say is power down”
Alex: “Power Down”Â
Alex’s suit disappears in a flash of fire and stood in front of Lantis back in his school uniform.
Lantis: “Now before the day is down Alex I must tell you two things. One you must not tell anyone that you are a power ranger at any cost and second you must not use your powers for personal gain”
Alex: “Understood Lantis. Now since your new here how about we go check out some of the clothing shops to get you some new clothes that way you can blend in with everyone else”
Lantis (smiling): “Sounds like a good plan”
