And do you think that's right? To take someone else's hard work, make one [poor] change to it and then put your name on it? If you wanted a red ranger set so bad you should 1 -- make it yourself or 2 -- ask someone in the art section to make one for you.

Well yes, and all the pics used in that wallpaper are from scans and promotional material released over the years. Just like the images used in your signature. And most other team/character sets out there.

It doesn't change the fact the creator -- I'm sorry -- I edited the images together, created the effects used in the banner, created the background, edited the logo and edited in Alien Red and did heavy editing on Turbo Red to get him in there.

There is a line where the source material becomes your art piece. Where the heavy effects and other editing outweighs the scans used for the piece.

That is my banner, I made it, it represents my hard work. I'm going to stop beating around the bush -- Mach I request you stop using my work, and definitely don't take work that wasn't yours and put your name on it.

He's certainly free to use the same source scan I did and try to come up with his own, but using my banner that I made is wholly different.

Every banner, signature, and avatar is made from stock footage from official sources. What makes them different and considered work on forums is what effects they do to alter it and make it their own. What Mach did was take the work of Dami-chan, added one more ranger and labeled it his own. It may be his one edit, but the vast majority of the work done and what made it look so cool was Dami's creative work. Taking it like that is a bit messed up. I've seen it done before and as someone who enjoys making sets and banners, I can definitely see how its insulting to the one who originally made it.

I never said the Forever Red Banner was mine, I didn't even know you made it nobody told me till you mentioned now along with the other Forever Red Banner, I'm not using anything of those right now ok? Look at my avatar and signature now, I made them myself. I hate how all you guys are getting at me for something you guys didn't let me know about.

That is why we are "getting at" you. You admitted it was someone else's work that you took without permission and edited. You don't do that.

How does it matter you didn't know I made it. Or we didn't tell you ... you knew it was someone else's and you took it.

Just because you got caught doesn't mean you get to cry foul -- you did something wrong, I have every right to be upset with you and the other artists in this thread have every right to be upset with you.
