Photobucket pictures sometimes being shown as Youtube previews..

Do you mean like you copy the link for a pic from Photobucket and it shows on the boards as a youtube link?
Hmmm..I've never had that happen to me before, on here or any other board.
And just to test quickly....
EDIT Followup. Yeah no problems. When you're copying the link, I'm assuming you're copying the IMG Code?
EDIT 2- Looks like it's happening in this thread: http://forums.henshinjustice.net/showthread.php?t=70075 and after going into the posts, the poster is using a URL link instead of an IMG Code. That's why the board thinks it's a youtube type link instead of an image.

If a PhotoBucket link is showing up as a YouTube window, then in all likelihood the wrong link is being copy/pasted here. For pics hosted on PhotoBucket, it's the IMG link/direct URL link that's needed to be posted here. A "hosting link" on PhotoBucket (which links you to a page on the person's PhotoBucket account instead of directly linking you to the actual pic) is what makes the forum try to make it show up like it's a YouTube video.

Is it only an issue with photobucket URLs? Or would other URLs be an issue, too?

Since before the site was upgraded to do the youtube imbedding, a image link would be just that a link. But since the site now thinks it's a link to an imbedded youtube video, that's why we're getting the youtube looking window. At least that's my theory.
Basically it's coming down to user error of the poster not using the correct link/tags.
