You can import your character from Phantasy Star Universe but you can't carry over your equipment and stats with him/her/it.

The story is that you're supposed to help out a newly made HuCast hunt down a bunch of space terrorists.

I'm really excited for this. I've been playing PSO on and off since the Dreamcast launch c.2001 and even though I never got into PSU, having a PSO-style game on the go sounds just awesome.

Monster Hunter Portable is the top PSP multiplayer game out in Japan right now, but this game has a pretty good chance of rivaling it.

I like Monster Hunter, but the periodic fantasy theme only goes so far with me. So to have a multiplayer sci-fi rpg on the PSP catches way more of my attention.
