^there are two versions of Persona 2, Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment which is the sequel to Innocent Sin. If i can remember it correctly, we only got Eternal Punishment because Innocent Sin allowed you to fight Hitler. There was a fan translation patch of IS though

Yes I know all that. I was wondering what he was talking about. He made it sound as though IS is a sequel.

The "sequel" as I was referring to is Eternal Punishment, which only had a US release outta the two. I already know my stuff, so...I don't know how you can be confused...

Why? The PSP ports of the games were all based on the P4 engine. Maybe if they toned down the "dating sim-esque" gameplay and fixed up the atrocious writing and scenery design though... I mean for a heavily character and story driven game the writing was almost Tommy Wiseau level bad.

Nice to see the one of the few Megaten games I actually enjoyed get a port, although I'd prefer it if it was both Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment.

There are only two reasons someone would say something so utterly and flabbergastingly (yes, I know that's not a real word, it's the only way I can convey my feelings on this) incorrect.

I could get someone just not liking the style change from the older games but to actively say the writing is bad is just... frankly it's a bit infuriating and feels like willful ignorance.
