One Red light on Xbox 360

Good luck. I started hearing so much bad stuff about 360s. Then mine started making lot of roaring sounds. LOL.. it would freeze up all the time.

I had that problem a long while ago and I realized it happened because I didn't give it any air and dust clogged the exhaust on the inside. I gave it a good 30 minutes to a fan set on full blast and it worked liked the day I bought it.

But mine roared from day one... and it was new... LOL.

Well it depends on your definition of roar, by making a moderately loud sound yes most 360's from the first few months of shipment will be somewhat loud like mine but its nothing too bothering but progressively got worst (as I already stated due to my carelessness) Anyway next time to be to hasty to trade in a console, just see the options first and see if the problem is something trivial.

it keeps happening to me since i got a cooling fan. i just have to plug it back in and out and its fine. as someone said, report 3 rings. my friend did that and got his fixed and got a free year XBOX live card. Granit, he could just be lying to me about the card lol.
