Where Can I get HKD from?.. no banks around me seem to have it in or get it in they just tell me to go try "xbank" :sly: Perhaps I just need to go to a larger city?!!... :S

Reason I am asking is cause I have a friend in hk who picks me up stuff & I got to send him some cash soon! & he tells me the exchange rate sucks over there for both us & cdn funds for whatever reason :sweat:

have you tried asking your bank to order the monies for you?

because basically i don't know of any other places where you can get the money from other than that..

or have you tried going to an international airport?

i know i've seen many international currency exchangers at home.. but i think it mite have something to do with the fact that its hawaii -_-

btw exchange rate is going to suck no matter where u go cuz they charge a fee.... unless you manage to find a "friend" who can exchange the money for you at market value..

oooor this is a bit farfetched..but do you know of any stores that accept HKD? they are usually willing to exchange money if you ask.. well sometimes XD (again i know of a couple stores in hawaii that exchange yen for dollars.. but thats hawaii..tourists galore there..... dunno if u'ld be so lucky where you are)
