Not much love for Drive?

Yes. Grandpa was a police officer. Father was a soldier, and so was a grand uncle. Multiple cousins are police officers.

I don't see how that's relevant, though.

How they act after the fact is irrelevant because they cant handle it anyway. Youre focusing on useless details.

YOure just moving the goalposts here. Every non Kuuga series you mentioned had monsters raging around with the police ignoring them. You just ignore it because you're biased.

FAct is if the police really cared for those shows, we wouldnt have a Kamen Rider. Either that or lots of police dying.

So You really didn't follow discussion after all. Everytime someone mentioned about their action you just take it as their lack of equipment. No matter how high technology used by police its never enough to monster. And actually Rinna develop some nice equipment for them. That's why the focus is, how they respond the incident. It is not useless detail, especially when Drive theme is police.

Non Kuuga? Look again my post before this, we have Agito, Kabuto, W and Wizard before. Everytime police get much spotlight, police never deny them so much as Drive did except if their role is just a bystander or when monster existence is secret to them.

I wait until you answer Mirage question because I'm afraid you are the one who biased. We never intend to insult about police in real life here in case if you somehow biased because of it. I'm born in soldier family too and my uncle and most of my friend is police officer. I never see them encounter a crime and still call someone who witness that crime as deluded freak.

Your English is really hard to understand.... Rinna just developed it recently, so it's not mass-produced yet. Mass-production is not some instant miracle. There's an in-universe explanation you're purposely ignoring here.

So yeah, it's a useless detail. You guys are so fixated on it when you should be fixated on it during every Rider series.

W and Wizard had as Black Fang put it "clownish" cops. And the cops here handle Roidmudes: It's called the SCU. They have even worked with other divisions multiple times. The few other people who were condescending skeptics were just few other people being condescending skeptics.

Again: "the few other people who were condescending skeptics were just few other people being condescending skeptics".

Here's the thing Kuroi...

The world was frozen all over and Roidmude went wild with destruction. Density Shift effect occurs EVERYWHERE all the time! It's a major danger to everyone and monsters are spotted everywhere around the world...

So why in god's name are the only people tasked with handling it a bunch of rejects in a driver school? Why did an entire room of trained officer laugh at the suggestion of Roidmude activity when there was mention of slowdown as if monsters wre just an urban legend?! And then a couple episode later a detective from another unit comes to work with them and seems to respect them? Talk about inconsistent portrayal for some cheap joke.

I think it would have been way better if the captain of the SCU had been working with Krim to gather chosen people for the Drive project in secret, resulting in a SCU that is considered competant but just very weird and excentric.

In W and Wizard, the whole thing was mostly secret, so the police not being aware was just par for the course, but here? Here it just doesn't make sense.

And the show has gone back into mediocrity. UGH!!! Can we just get the next Rider series already?

[HIDE]I gave up after they reset Chase's character. They took away the one thing, IMO, that was interesting about this show. [/HIDE]

Please don't change Kiriko.

And yet they were all defeated without causing major damage or the authorities doing anything.

I think they thought he was seeing Roidmudes everywhere, rather than laughing at the idea of Roidmudes existing. The episode itself does throw a twist that the crime mentioned there was committed by a human, not a Roidmude, although there was a Roidmude giving support to him.
