No More Heroes - Discussion

I'm impressed and surprised at how well it's doing! 80% of the guys I know who have a Wii have picked this up and my local GameStop said they were selling out of it pretty quick.

Shame it tanked in Japan, but in an interview, Suda 51 said how this was started off as a 360 game and he had a western audience in mind.

Looks like it's paying off.

I agree with the complaint that the jobs you have to hit up first are kinda boring. I just do the assasination stuff... not the part-time jobs. Hopefully more interesting assassinations will open up soon.

I've also been treasure hunting. The pickings are meager at best, but it's soooo hard to pass up the treasure and the ball collecting.

Here's hoping we get a NMH 2.

Yeah I tend to do the assination jobs myself too. What I can't stand is how you need to keep going back and fourth between the job centers, to the objective points to take missions. Gets irratating after awhile, but it is fun to ram into stuff with your bike, and popin wheelies.

Easily one of the best games on Wii right now, theres really only one thing that bothers me. I was hoping with the Wii we'd be able to get away from the button mashing mini games, and for the most part, the game has... until you go to the gym, and in the midst of two innovative mini games, there lies my arch nemesis 'Press the A button as fast as you can' Not that its hard, but I was honestly hoping to get away from those with all the other things the Wii remote is capable of.

As for everything else in the game, I'm currently rank 3 and earning my entry fee.... and then spending it on power ups and loli anime shirts instead of the match itself. Love the game so far, using the remotes built in speaker as an cel phone was a nice touch too... I'd probably be finished w/ the game if DMC4 didn't come out...

Just got Rank 6.

I also found out why I wasn't getting any other assasination gigs. I didn't know part-time jobs opened 'em up.

And the part time job mini-games aren't as tedious as I thought they'd be.... I kinda liked 'em.

I do know one thing... the world needs more full pictures of Naomi.

Yup, doing part time jobs opens new assination missions up. Some of the part time job mini games can actually be fun though, like the mowing the lawn one.

I didn't think I'd like mowing the lawn, but I'm totally hitting that up again next game session. That and the 100 man killing spree. Blasting people's heads off and hearing them scream has never sounded so good.

The one where you do it with just one life left is pretty hard. I've only managed to kill about 15 my self before bitting the dust
