Pff...screw the "outcry"!
Most people that grew up on the original *shuddering* cartoons and movies are now like me in their late 20's early 30's.
It's time for the turtles to be thier bad ass kickin ninja selfs...and not some freaky pizza eating multi-colored sufer doods.
Yeah, I highly doubt if it will break PG, but we can always hope. The reason the first movie was (clearly) the best was because it was more like the comic than the entirely too slapstick sequels.
