News: Final Fantasy XIV Holds New Player-Designed Gear Contest

[Anachiwo]

I have not tried the art for the 3D or even the 2D as far as the gaming characters are concerned. So surely that's not something I'd be able to do. So I am staying away from such contest. I hope in future I may be able to do some 3D or 2D type of drawing on computer then maybe a chance.

It's good to acknowledge one's strength and weaknesses, thus it would help one to know he or she would likely succeed or fail. If one knows quite well one isn't capable of doing a particular thing, it's better to stay clear.

It will be interesting to see what kind of art & designs for gear they can up with, for this Final Fantasy XIV gear contest. Also I see that they are giving out prizes to other people, besides just the winner as well- but it does not look like any prize money, just gifts ?

If I'm going to participate in the contest and offered the chance to choose what my gift would be should I happen to win the contest, I think I would go for the obvious choice which would be cash money .

Let's wait and see what the contenders are going to come up with. I bet there is going to be some really interesting material.

I'm quite sure that we are going to see a lot of good work done by lots of people who are actually good at designing. I can remember stumbling across one gamers Twitter account who is a FF fan and an artist as well. He had some great work on his page.

I'm mostly excited to see who is going to come up with the best Bard/mechanist gear.
