New Wii Channel

Well my blue light started flashing tonight, which ment I had some sort of an update. Turns out that there was a new channel released earlier in the eveing. The new channel you ask? Looks like a voting channel. Where you can vote and then predict how others will vote and just stupid little questions (like do you prefer cats or dogs).

Not that great of an update, but still kinda fun all the same. :thumbs:

Noticed it too. I was like "wtf is Nintendo givin me now". Voting channel seems kind of stupid. "Now your opinion can be heard around THA WURLD!!!1".. no **** Nintendo. I think someone beat you to this concept over a decade ago. It's called the fucking Internet.

Well not every channel is going to hit it out of the park.
But it's a fun little channel.
And if you don't like it, you can always delete it.

I dont hate it, just the thought that Nintendo is really wasting their efforts here with missed opportunities. How about a Rayman channel where you compare scores and connect with each other to play mini games centered around psychotic bunnies? How about a channel that actually validates the entire purpose of the channel concept. So far the channels have been kind of... pointless. News Channel especially since the news channel doesnt have a lot of articles and the internet, again, blows it out of the water in terms of "useful"ness. Blahblah.

I'm just ranting. I dont need a reason to rant dammit.

LoL..fair enough.

True the Internet channel isn't the greatest. But it was never ment to take over a computer and be used strickly for net browsing.

The news channel is updated from the AP wire, likewise the weather channel is updated from a weather service, so NOA really has no control over when these channels get updated.

As for the Rayman channel idea. That could probably be done, but it'd be up to Rayman's developer if they wanted to do something like that, not NOA.

now that would be awesome. Especially if you could play the music channel while playing a Wii game. Like hit the "home" button on your controller and select a quick link to the music channel to stop, repeat, or skip songs.
