new Iron Man title

How does this fit in the continuity of his other title?

I never read Spider-Man... I always wondered how one character could have four different books? Or why?

What happens when and why does any one character need more than one title a month in the same continuity?

not really sure but I think it's implied that in cases like Spider-man and Batman those storylines are happening at different times, like one taking place "now" and the other like a week or so or something like that. I know the Superman titles tries to have have one story go through all of his titles, which is why that had that secondary shield number a few years back

Just what we need...more Stark exposure.:redface2:
Given how badly mishandled the current comic has been by the father-son creative team despite a strong start with the Extremis story by Warren Ellis and Iron Man given a larger presence in the marvel universe thanks to Civil War, putting out another Iron Man book can be seen as an attempt to capitalize on the new movie and regain the lost momentum.

If the sales and market show there is only interest in one IM book, then they could easily cancel the weaker one (most likely the current book).

Easy more money in the coffers of the comic book company.

So Stark is facing another buisness rival, and he's related to Stane (his theatrical nemesis and a 1980s rival that predecesed Justin Hammer), what an original idea.

Marvel are repeating the risks they made ten years ago close to bankrupticy (back up titles for heroes other than Spider-Man and X-Men), since they have a more sustainable income...

marvel's been eff'ing up since the spiderman retcon, the only thing that they're actually doing right right now are the x-men titles, I just finished reading the new x-force series, and I've gotta say: I'm very excited to read the next issue

people complain about AMrvel here every week and yet the still go out and buy the books....well except you Derek, you steal everything.:169:
