NEW GAME FOR DREAMCAST!!!

What's awesome about it? The game looks ****, the graphics are ****, nothing about the game looks worth buying and it's out for a long dead over rated console.

Nothing against the console, I liked the few good games it had on it. It just silly to release things for it, just seems like some weird fanboyism.

Your just angry you don't have a dreamcast.

The only reason why it looks "****" to you is because you expect too much from it. Yes, there's nothinjg too special about this game, but in no way does that make the game "****".

Dreamcast is overrated? Really? So how many games on the Dreamcast involve pony riding, Hannah Montanna, Disney Princesses, and playing shootemups online with angry kids?

Sure the Dreamcast isn't a "magic system", but neither is the XBox 360, PS3 or the Wii. The Wii wasn't even revolutionary, which is possibly why they abandoned the original name "Revolution". Shame they called it the Wii though.

And the XBox 360, the only games I care about on this system are the beatemups and IdolM@ster. I don't wanna play shootemups with fiddly controls and play online with angry 12 year olds.

And I won't even bother going into detail about the PS3.

EDIT: Another thing, I think it's awesome that they're making games for a long gone console because, what's so cool about introducing a new console every 5 years or so anyway? All it mean to me is that it's more expensive, has the same lame features..

For example:

Fanboy 1: "Oh so your PlayStation 4 can play Blu Ray discs huh? Well my XBox 9000 can play Blu, Green, Pink AND Orange Ray Discs aswell!!"

Fanboy 2: "Oh yeah, well PlayStation 4 can connect to the internet so I can flame people on YouTube!!"

Fanboy 1: "Oh yeah?!!! Well XBox 9000 got better games than your ****!! I've got Lame Ass Shooter 1, Lame Ass Shooter 2, Lame Ass Shooter 3: The Ultra Lame.."

Fanboy 2: "Oh yeah? Well Lame Ass Shooter 4 is a PS4 exclusive!!!"

Fangirl: "You guys should stop fighting and be nice!! My Nintendo Happii has way better games. I've got Hanna Montanna Karaoke 1, Hanna Montanna Karaoke 2, Hanna Montanna Karaoke 3, Winnie the Pooh, plus my system help me keep fit."

Fanboy 1 + 2: "GO F%$K YOURSELF!!!"

Fangirl: *Cries*

..and it goes on and on and on and on and on and on.. and it completely fades into obscurity.

And I don't mind my games being a bit violent or a bit girly, but I want some GAMEPLAY, ORIGINALITY and a STORY too. I think that making games for an older system could bring that opportunity.

What teh ****? You seem to contradict yourself in this.

You say there's nothing special about any of the consoles, yet show favoritism to the Dreamcast, even slating off the other consoles, completely ignoring every reason about why they're amazingly popular. The Dreamcast died for a reason, it didn't sell. It wasn't popular. I said it had some good games, but much like other consoles, the Dreamcast is no different in having it's fair share of tripe.

The Wii's content is pretty awful, but has become a household success, but comparing it to other consoles doesn't work, it's a different bag of chips.

If you don't want to play shoot 'em ups... then don't? I don't like sport or racing games but I don't talk about them as if I know what they're like because I simply don't. Something you are clearly doing. I actually like shoot em ups, but out of the 30 odd games I have, only about 4 are. The rest are a mix of different genres. Had quite a selection to pick from.

What has releasing new consoles got to do with this thread? New consoles are released every few years because technology advances and can do things the previous one couldn't or can do better. Bigger, better games. It's quite simple.

So tell me, what was Rush Rush Rally got that makes it have good GAMEPLAY, ORIGINALITY and a STORY too? Am I watching a different trailer or something? And how releasing it on an dead console bring this? It in no way seems so.

Just so everyone knows, I did own a Dreamcast at one point.

Well if you don;t like what you see of Rush Rush Rally Racing, then don't buy it. I can't guarantee that RRRR is super duper awesome, but it doesn't look too bad from what I've seen. In fact it reminds me of Micro Machines. Maybe if I like Micro Machines probably I'll give this game a go.

But saying the Dreamcast is overrated is about as weird as saying the Neo Geo is overrated. Sure if you don't like what the Dreamcast offers, then that's fine but popular doesn't always mean good. Just because say.. over 9000 more people buy "product X" than "product Y" doesn't make "product X" any better than "product Y".

And is the PlayStation 2 really better than the Dreamcast just because it can play DVDs (not very well). I'd rather just have the games console for games and a DVD player for DVDs. And how come s

So perhaps you wanna tell me what so freaking awesome about the XBox 360 and the PS3. Because to me...

XBox 360
- Only descent games are the beatemups and Idolmaster (Japan only).
- Re(YES, WE KNOW)th.
- Play online with screaming 12 year olds.
- Buying Japanese consoles is riskier than buying Brit consoles.

PlayStation 3
- Looks like a George Foreman grill
- Slim version looks like a smaller George Foreman grill
- Expensive!!
- British people are not allowed to import Japanese games, because Sony says so!!
- Brits are forced to play unintersting games such as Fifa football, and er..
same lame games on the Wii and 360.
- Gosh!! a Blu Ray player!! WHOOP DE DOO!! Plus there are probably better Blu Ray players out there.
- NO NUDITY ALLOWED!!!!!!!11(one)!
- We have Street Fighter 4, Virtua Fighter 5 and Tekken 6... buut, they're on the 360..
- er....
- umm...
- ..and erm...
- *SIGH*

Christ, you seem to have completely misunderstood my point for a second time and all honesty, I'm not going to explain it again when you can just read my posts properly.

The fact that he says Idolmaster is one of the "best" games on the 360 and then goes on to only list one other.. That just tells me he has NO idea what is on that system.

Your just angry you don't have a dreamcast.

Your implies possession
You're is you are contracted

The game looks like something you could play for free on some flash game website to entertain yourself for 15 minutes. Of the Dreamcast games that have come out since 2006 this one looks like the worst.

I still think the game looks fun. You guys can argue about systems and graphics and **** all you want, and if I had a DC still and the game was $10 I would buy it, but no more though in price. But I'm an old-school gaming fanatic though, so I'm "kinda" biased.

Damn, I wonder how long this competition to pump out the "final" Dreamcast game is going to last. Last I recall, Triggerheart was supposedly the "final" game for DC.

Then again, this is Senile team, those who were responsible for the kick ass "Beats of Rage" homebrew.

No.

All your saying is Idolmaster isn't your thing. And that's cool, I respect that. Just like you should respect that Halo and all these other first person shooters are not my thing.

Some of you guys realize that in japan, the Dreamcast JUST died two years ago, so it's as relevant to some as the ps1 is to others.

True. Dreamcast finished in Japan in 2007.
