Logic behind it is, consumers like us think we're spending less, for cases like those who win, they actually are spending less since they're lucky or have tons of cash, for the others, they're spending more than they should... So if you add those thousands of people who spend more than they should and the few who are lucky enough to win, then we have a very very very very very very rich Penny Auctions owner. It's an illusion basically.
