NERF Vortex: Can it load and fire OOOs Medals?

I just saw the new NERF Vortex (disc NERF) system guns appear in a locla store here and was wondering:

Do you think these things can fit a Cell Medal and fire it? If so...the possiblitieis are endless.

Seriously though, Anyone actually own one of these and tried them out? What are they like? I haven't been big into NERF (I would love to go into airsoft or even REAL guns if not for the fact that Victoria Australia prohibits you from getting stuff that fun to own), but am considerign these if they posess decent range further than the darts can shoot.

The green lantern weapon (Colossal Cannon) looks to have the same size "coin" ammo as the OOO medals.

Well I dunno how big the discs are but I imagine you wouldn't be able to shoot them very far
