I say for newcomers, ignore the stupidiy you often get in these threads, read the synopsis about the Rider series on wiki or something & pick whichever you think sounds the most interesting to start out.

or going in Chronological order would make sense too I guess.

Also, and this goes to everyone, don't listen to anyone who says "Don't watch these shows". Everyone should give every show a chance and make up their own minds. I generally go by a rule of "Watch five episodes of it, if it still doesn't catch your interest, do as you will."
Anyone who says "Don't watch this show, it sucks, it's not really Kamen Rider," please stop. That's your own opinion, don't state it as though it's fact. Would be better to say "Personally I recommend avoiding this, this, and this, because I feel they're not really [insert opinion here]." But even that I think should be avoided. People like different shows. I don't really like any Sentai outside of Gekiranger, but you don't see me saying "Gekiranger is teh only good Sentai gaiz! Other sentai is teh lamezors lawlz!"
