those pics look like an early version of the game, probably the added the level cap later anyways you can have a character with maxed stats at level 1 by buying pills in the shop.

If you can see, the parther has rider gauge too, and this game is only single player.

I dont remember the stage where you fight those 2 but i know is a password stage, in world 4 i think

is it just me or does the game loose its appeal after you have defeated the boss and got all characters unlocked ... going through the same levels on harder difficulties just seems a bit to repeatative for me V.V ah well was fun for a week or so.

It IS a beat 'em up. It's not the kind of game you keep going in the after story, it's the kind you replay from the beginning... Speaking of which, how come there's only one save?!
