That's the exact reason why I thought it might be a RPG... which probably would've been more interesting than a Beat 'em up.

They also did the cover thing with Rockman.EXE: Operate Shooting Star, so we can pretty much confirm that will happen. Speaking of the cover, it looks pretty bland... Just a bunch of suits and a blank background...

The game does have level up system. MOre interesting with beat 'em up and gain levels and maybe need to unlock some abilities at certain level for each riders. Just my thought.

Kind of worried that if it's an RPG I'm gonna have a hard time playing it since I wont know effects for equipment and stuff.

It's only in the pre order version.

i think they should make 2d graphics gokaiger sentai follow up storyline game with all 199 senshis, that would be awesome, easier way of getting them in there and making them because making 199 senshis in 3d would extremely difficult.

Too bad it's not on the PSP I would've bought it, maybe the next game will be or at least they should make a super sentai game for the PSP as long as Gokaiger is in it I would buy it

A 2d game would mean redrawing everyone a stupidly large number of times. At least, with a 3d game, they could reuse some animations.

2d works here with Rider because it makes things like changing forms to attack easier, but it'd have no advantages for Sentai. If they made a game only using the last 5 Sentai series, you'd already have a cast bigger than the one of this Rider game. And that's not even getting into the robots. 3d is pretty much the only option if you want to cover a large number of series.

its actually the other way around,you see,in 3d you can make 1 character model and then outfit them with 199 costumes

in 2d,there's no such thing,even if you have the same moves for all 199 sentais you will end up editing every sentai and every move they have one by one.....
