Nago the Comic relief, and Megumi's role

Yeah, they definitely pulled a Sasword with him. Changed his character for no good reason except to change it. (although this is WAY worse than sasword, this thing isn't even on Nagos character at ALL)

...at least Tsurugi went out with a bang.

I never really noticed a change with sasword my self he was always just "all kinds of crazy" to be perfectly honest... I think it fit him quite well & yes he had a great end for sure

Hmm. I always rationalized that the scene where Nago snatched back IXA and attempted to play a prank, was to let us know how pathetic he really is without IXA.

Remember how cocky he was back when he was IXA? and how he was always being arrogant and an A**hole?

I feel that it just shows he's nothing without IXA, his confidence, etc... relied too much on it. If anyone noticed, he kept powering up whenever he could, (powered IXA?). Plus, there were the many scenes where Shima accosted Nago about him being weak, which we finally see here.

As for the Wataru arc, i felt it was similarly out of place, would have expected him to at least fight Wataru and we would have gotten a bada** IXA-Kiva fight.

See, the problem with that is...How did Nago ever get IXA in the first place without always being like that beforehand. He wanted absolute justice, and it drove him BEFORE he got IXA. He just further utilized the rider system to bring about his goal. I don't think losing his rider would make him turn from wanting justice to...selling t-shirts.

It just makes no sense at all. It would be like Kaixa half way through the series saying "Hey, I'm going to say screw every backstabbing thing, and screw avenging everyone...I'm gonna go start a bakery and sell muffins to all the children!"

Remember Otoya's sermon about Nago not having a playful heart and always being serious etc. (episode 28)?

And how can he kill the son of his first love? and of course meeting maya didn't help either.

well, u're absolutely right, Nago started out on the path of justice utilizing his own strengths, but I believe some where down the line, after obtaining IXA, he has since stopped relying on his own strength, something that Shima warned him about back when he was beaten by Kiva and he was begging for an upgrade.

Well, just my opinion, and hope that this interpretation will get us a scene where Nago finally realises that IXA's power is within himself and he can kick ass with just that pistol/whip weapon Megumi uses.

Well, just thought it would be great to see Nago use a "normal" weapon against Fangires.
