My Problems With Rising Ultimate Kuuga Form

And if this is a completely artificial form, then why did was Yuusuke able to change into it AFTER he had lost the effects of the gem?

Residual energy, I guess.

In Movie War (and Rider War World probably was post All Riders too somehow), he couldn't use Rising Ultimate, even though Movie War references All Riders. He only used it in Movie War thanks to Decade's final kamen ride, as shown in some of the movie promo scenes.

I'm not saying it was necessary or well utilized, but I really don't see why you're complaining about this form. It was a nice extra, and, personally, I'd have liked it if each AR Rider had gotten his own exclusive final form... Although it'd be pointless as it is currently though, considering how most of them didn't appear outside of cameos after their 2 episode arc.

Wait, that isn't completely right... (Movie War spoilers)

Yuusuke isn't killed mid air. Decade attacks him, and some pieces fall, but he still continues, until he crashes into a building with Decade and they blow up together, but Decade walks away with almost no damage, holding his card.

I thought Ultimate was sleek and elegant. Rising Ultimate just seems like somebody tried to make it appeal more to kids by making it beefier and spikier.

Basically this...

There was no story reason for him to have an even higher form, not when it is IMMEDIATELY trumped by Shadowmoon. He should been boosted to ultimate form.

Well, I think it's probably do to the fact that Toei was just rushing too much with AU Yuusuke's story in Decade. Probably why they didn't go into too much details with Ultimate Kuuga's fate.

Now for Rising Ultimate Kuuga. It's just an artificial form that was cooked up in Tsukasa no Sekai in A.R. VS. D.S.

Decade is AR, so Toei has artistic license and creative leeway in terms of story elements. that's what justifies the FFRs. besides, from my understanding, Bishium's Earth Stone gave Kuuga a previously non-existent ability, and after the stone was destroyed, it can be presumed that it eventually left Yusuke forever

I think it's more appropriate to call the movie's setting Decade World, since all individual Rider Worlds are named after their respective Rider

Ultimate Kuuga in a hard battle against someone on the same level of power broke his belt. It wasn't just the transformation by itself. The belt had been damaged in a previous battle too, although the damage seemingly had vanished afterwards.

Rising Ultimate Kuuga was in a hard battle against someone who was BETTER than him, so why didn't that break his belt and/or kill him? And yes, yes it was the transformation. The sheer power being generated, the belt just could not take it anymore.

Because Rising Ultimate is a different form from Ultimate? Rising Ultimate Form is an artificial form created with that stone from Tsukasa's world, not something that was just pushed from within Yuusuke.

Which is more of a disgrace, considering where the belt most likely came from, but that's a theory I can't prove, so we'll leave that alone.

No thanks. First off, the FFRs are a completely different deal--they're meant to emphasize Decade's superiority over all other Riders. Rising Ultimate has no in-story reason and could have been accomplished by the up-to-that-point unseen Ultimate Form. Look, I'm all for new transformations, giant robots and power-ups. I'm not the guy trying to take the mecha out of Super Sentai. (THAT'S logical.) But to do so while at the same time screwing up another series' own mythology is just ridiculous.

LOL. Artistic license. This the same way the movie gets away with Decade beating Biorider's liquid form (supposedly impossible to damage--someone who's seen RX can let me know if someone ever conquered that), but couldn't beat Shadow Moon?

Also, someone said something about giving new forms to all the Riders. ...Really? I mean, really? We didn't see them use the power-ups they had.

Daguba had something similar to the stone in Kuuga's belt, and it didn't spontaneously destroy itself. Why should Kuuga's? It was due to the battle.

Besides, Decade's and Kuuga's battle against ShadowMoon didn't even last enough for them to get any hits on him. We know Tsukikage was more skilled than Tsukasa and Yuusuke, but that says nothing for his power. Look at the battle again. He used his sword to out range Kuuga's punch and used energy attacks on him while thrusting his sword into Decade. He wasn't even hit by neither of them nor directly overpowered them at any time. Tsukasa and Yuusuke just weren't good enough to actually get past his sword moves.

(supposedly impossible to damage--someone who's seen RX can let me know if someone ever conquered that)

Shadow Moon randomly hit him out of it during one of his returns. In any case, I thought that might have worked due to the stun effect that Faiz's Rider Kick uses. And really, the tournament matches were completely rigged.

RX was standing right after that, but he "lost". Decade fell several times during his 3 matches, and yet was never eliminated.

That's why I also said that it wouldn't work with the way most weren't even featured much after their own arcs ended... but, really, I'd like to see it. It'd give more identity to Decade's AR Riders.

Rising Ultimate Kuuga is automatically associated with Decade, not the original Kuuga series. I'd have liked to see more things like that for the others AR Riders too, although, obviously, if they were going to do it, they'd need more screen time.

Just for fun, if Agito were to get another upgrade, it would have to be God. Shining progresses to God, get it?
