you have a character who is abused and occasionally sexually abused by their parent

and another character who's the only survivor of a very traumatic plane crash

plus they're in the spotlight by media whores....

they should be suffering from serious psychological disorders

the female lead may suffer from schizophrenia and or dissociative identity disorder

The final two? Unlikely. because the ending is tragic, death scene from Boys Don't Cry except there's an added "before she dies" scene in which she tells the guy she loves him, (then she dies) and after a few seconds, the kid will go scream her name in sadness.

(I got the idea for the last scene from other sad-ending movies.)

since you gave them such tragic backgrounds, they should be traumatized and extremely socially withdrawn, furthermore the overall stress of constantly being in the spotlight as well as the demands and criticisms of the entertainment industry can only lead to an eventual mental breakkdown

Ok I'll clear this: one has a great family but taken from him in an accident. the other one has a good father gone bad by influence. both only try to look at the bright side of their lives (Timmy being a Celeb, Mitchie dreaming her dreams will come true someday) and so there...

again, the ending is a tearjerker.
