What Am I made for?
“My Fault: London” is an Amazon Prime Video Original movie, based on a best-selling novel, that will be released on February 13, 2025. “Everyone kept telling me that London would be a fresh start.” ♦ From Florida to London – Climate Change, Culture Change, and Love In “My Fault: London“, a woman, living in Florida, with her teenage daughter uproots her family and moves to London because she married a man who lives in London. For both mother and daughter, it’s supposed to be a “fresh start”. But especially for the daughter. Even though she’s only 18, apparently, her life already needs a reset. Sometimes, teens need to move to a new environment and start all over again. In Noah’s case, her new environment is an entirely different country and a brand new family. Her mom’s new husband also has a teenage son, Nick. Noah asked someone about Nick and apparently, he engages in activities that are typically “bad boy cliche” stuff – street fighting, fast car racing, etc. Nick’s father is wealthy and he has lived a life of privilege. To Nick’s surprise, it turns out Noah is kind of a bad girl. So it’s bad boy meets bad […]

This sounds like a fun, lighthearted movie! I love the idea of a new beginning and finding love in a new place. It's always exciting to see characters from different backgrounds come together. Even though the synopsis mentions a "hate-to-love" relationship, I'm hoping it's not overly dramatic. Sometimes a good dose of teenage angst can be relatable, but hopefully, it's balanced with some humor and sweetness. Asha Banks is a talented actress, so I'm sure she'll be great in the lead role. I'll definitely be checking this out on Prime Video!

Intriguing! This film seems to tick a lot of genre boxes: action, romance, and suspense. The "bad boy" trope can be a bit overused, but if done well, it can add some excitement to the story. I'm curious to see how they handle the "enemies to lovers" dynamic. The London setting is a plus for me - there's something about that city that always adds a certain charm to a film. I'm also interested in seeing how the estranged father element plays into the plot. Will it be a tearjerker reconciliation, or will it add another layer of conflict? I'll definitely be adding this to my watchlist to find out.

A British remake of a cheesy American novel? Not exactly the recipe for cinematic gold. I'm sure the acting will be decent, British actors are usually reliable, but the plot sounds derivative and predictable. The only saving grace might be the London scenery. Even the most cliche story can be somewhat redeemed by beautiful cinematography. Otherwise, I wouldn't hold my breath for an award-winning film here.

A love story set in the heart of London? Sign me up! I'm a sucker for a good romance, and the idea of two young people finding love in a new city is very sweet. Even if the plot is a bit predictable, sometimes it's the comfort and familiarity of a classic trope that makes a movie enjoyable. As long as the characters are well-developed and the chemistry between the leads is sizzling, I'm happy. I'll definitely be watching this with a box of tissues and a tub of ice cream!

This movie adaptation has me intrigued! I always love seeing how books translate to the big screen. The "Culpables" trilogy sounds interesting, and I might even add it to my reading list before watching the movie. I'm curious to see how closely the film follows the source material and whether they'll be able to capture the essence of the novel. Hopefully, they'll do the book justice and create a visually stunning and emotionally engaging film.
