Most Memorable Tokusatsu Moments

I guess it's because I'm a big Abaranger fan, but in my opinion, episode 40 of Abaranger is one of the most memorable episodes of tokusatsu; with Mahoro having one of the biggest CMOA of the whole franchise:in order to free Asuka from the evil armor (bonus point Asuka being her husband):
- she hacks the Dino House computer, despite having discovered informatics only recently
- she uses Yatsudenwani to get in contact with the Evorian
- she becomes Jannu back again (having Jannu's powers, I mean), without being evil (she resists Dezumozorya's evil influence)
- she manipulates Abarekiller using his huge ego and his lust for power into helping her
- she manages to fool everyone, pretending to having become back the evil Jannu
- she fights Asuka when he wears the armor ; she's helped by Abarekiller, but don't forget that the evil armor is very powerful
-she manages to make Abarekiller strike the armor at the same time as she strikes, therefore destroying the armor; and then finding a way to explain the armor's destruction without exposing herself
- afterwards, she uses her claws to tell Asuka (and as the result the other Abarangers) that she's still on his side, and therefore, keeping her cover (since she pretends to still hate him), and becoming a spy

and she's not told ANYONE of her plan; and by keeping her cover, she takes big risks to help the team
ALL that in one episode; she shows that not only she's a great fighter, but also a sharp mind
there are a lot of great moments in toku; but I really felt that one especially great

 

[Khaiden]

-Episode 42 of Kamen Rider Super-1. All of it.
Right there I decided that no villain would ever surpass Jin Dogma in my eyes. I'm serious.

-The nuclear blast from episode 2 of V3, you know the one.
There are so many moments from that series, and that's mostly because V3 is my first toku, my first Rider series, my first time watching anything like that, my first everything.

-Kamen Rider X cutting a kaijin in half, which causes another one to flee in terror only to get intercepted by X. I can't remember the episode number.

-Episode 35 of Stronger, the reveal that the mysterious man following the Delza Army is Kazami Shiro as he throws his jacket away and takes off his sunglasses, smiling.

-Pretty much any moment in which a new/previous Rider appears to the enemy and they react saying ''Who in the hell is that?!''.
That's not exclusive to the enemy, actually.

-Pretty much any moment in which a Rider starts laughing LOUD, to which the enemy probably questions their sanity, the Riders respond by pulling an ace up their sleeve, kick-assery ensues.
But let's be more specific (these are a bit spoilerific, follow with caution):
[HIDE]-Rider 1's friends are buried neck-to-toe in the sand thanks to a deception by Hell Ambassador, Hongo and Taki have no choice but to surrender to the enemy. Hongo laughs. He then pulls out a detonator, which starts blowing mines that hurt the Shocker grunts and surprise Hell, pretty much screwing their plan.

-Rider 1 falls into a trap, he is trapped with another prisoner in a room with a spiked floor and a roof falling on them. The enemies open up to see the corpses of the prisoner, covered in blood and Kamen Rider. As they approach the latter, a deep laugh comes from him. Arses get Rider kicked.

-Doktor G has V3's friends captured and he is about to execute them or at least apply torture to them. The man is not showing up to save them and Big G is getting desperate, he explains how the trap is going to work out loud. Kazami, who was nowhere to be seen a second ago appears above on a rock saying ''I see'' and has a hearty laugh.

-The episode with Zemiminga of the original series. I don't really know the context but apparently he was setting a trap for Rider 1, Zemiminga calls out for Hongo Takeshi, but he gets more than he bargained as a laughing Kamen Rider appears. Apparently he knew of his trap and had Taki take care of it. Something about radio wave signals, I'm not really sure.

-In Stronger, Amazon returns. He laughs too. It's important because it's the first (and only) time he's ever done that. Which brings me to the next one:

-Birugenia has set up a plot to turn the people against Minami Kotaro, making him look as the villain who's crushing dreams and hopes. Finally, when a kid he made a promise to is sad and disappointed, he says out loud his trust on humans is gone. Birugenia triumphantly appears and says that with Kotaro's spirit crushed, he will take him out. Kotsaro laughs, only time he's ever done it. Birugenia just concludes the poor soul has gone insane, but it turns out HE is the one that fell into a trap. Kotaro was pretending the whole time, waiting for him to show up.

And my favorite:
-The Movie. The professor's daughter has been captured, Riders 1 and 2 have no choice but to trade the professor so Shocker can fulfill their plan. Ichimonji trades the professor for her daughter. But he falls into a deadly trap. An army of kaijins appears from all sides. He's doomed.

Ichimonji just gives the CRAZIEST laugh I've ever seen, and this one surpasses the one from LGRK because you can see his OVERJOYED face.
Doctor Shinigami flinches, and questions Ichimonji's sanity.

Turns out that professor is actually Hongo Takeshi in disguise. He simply shakes off Shinigami, does a pose and changes his appearance back into himself. Badassery follows.[/HIDE]

-Doras getting impaled after being thrown off a building by ZO.

-Gan Gan G's debut fight, in which he really gives a show for that mandrill kaijin.

-Ryuki punches Odin in episode 28. The reveal of what ''the fix'' was too.

-The deaths of the Ras (Dorudo and Baruba) in Kuuga. I'm like ''W-what?''

-Dat henshin at the end of episode 40 of 555.
And Kusaka's death, I felt bad for him, I actually did.
Yuka and Keitaro discover they are each other's mail-friends.
Kaido Naoya's antics:
•Doing Rider 1's pose complete with sound effect.
•Transforms into a Riotrooper, with style.
•Snaps his fingers as he transforms into his Orphenoch Form. His ''kouhai'' mimics it and keeps doing it until his death.
•Anything that involves a guitar.


-Whale Mutant saves the day. Mole Beastman saves the day.

Let's see.....

-Jetman: Rei/Maria's final moment of saying goodbye to Ryu before she died.
-Timeranger: Naoto's death and the final episode.
-Faiz: Takumi finally excepting his humanity over his Orphnoch half.
-Ryuki: Ryuki Survive vs. Knight Survive.
-Blade: Kenzaki becoming an Undead to allow Hajime to live his life as a human.
-Kabuto: Kabuto's First Rider Kick, Drake and Rena's final farewell, Sasword's demise.
-Gekiranger: Super Gekirangers, Geki Violet's Debut, Rio and Jan's final battle, the later episodes.
-Boukenger: Bouken Silver and the Questers' debut and the Boukengers' final battle with the Questers.
-Magiranger: The whole series.
-Dairanger: Dairen-Oh's debut, Kibaranger's Debut.
-Shinkenger: Takeru and Juzo's final duel. Shiba Kaoru-hime's debut.

Kamen Rider Faiz: Episode 40 at the end the first time all three belts fight together against the Orphenochs and Takumi showing Kusaka his resolve.
Kamen Rider W: Kamen Rider Joker debut
Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: death of Sally and the final Gokai Change barrage vs. Ackdos Gil, Final battle between Marvelous and Basco
Kamen Rider Decade: starting the tradition of debuting the next Rider in the current Rider's movie.
Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters: the reveal of the promise made to each other by the Go-Busters.
Kamen Rider Kabuto: Hyper Gatack, The assault of the station by Kabuto and Gatack in GSL.

Even this "idiot" is more rider than the Riotroopers and Kamen Rider Spirits reinforces his heroism...despite looking stupid looking...right on par with Taiyaki Ultimate Form...who also more rider than the Riotroopers.:buttrock:

1st episode of Abaranger. It's really unique amongst all the sentai 1st episodes that I've seen so far. First scene being AbareBlack in-suit. Rampage by the bakuryu. Trolling the watcher a little(when I first watched, I thought old man Ryu and the Emipon girl was really gonna don the suits).
Power-up(Abare Mode) right at the very 1st episode.

In Dekaranger vs Abaranger, when AbaRed took time off a fight to call Mai at the designated time. That was funny, but also shows that Ryouga takes his responsibilities seriously.

3 moments from Kamen Rider Blade:
-In episode 34, [hide]after confronting King(Caucasus Beetle Undead), Kenzaki said 'ore wa kamen rider da! henshin!' Then he calmly walks forward. Following that, the subsequent fight against King. And he won, without using any cards. Finally, the sealing of King.[/hide]
I thought this part was so awesome!

-Also in episode 34, when Kenzaki first transformed into Blade King form, then a close-up of the emblems of the 13 Undeads.

-Ep. 42. When Mutsuki [hide]finally fought Spider Undead head-on with some help from Tiger Undead, Tarantula Undead and Blade's King form sword. Then after he wins, the card changed colours and
Tachibana says that Mutsuki has become 'a true Kamen Rider'.[/hide]

Oooh, I got another one: the semi-finale episode of Ultraman Tiga. At the end of the episode when

[HIDE]Tiga, now a statue once more, sinks to the ocean floor while a less upbeat, instrumental version of "Take Me Higher" plays.[/HIDE]
(yeah, it's so memorable I can't help but keep it in hidden tags...)

and of course, the final battle of that series.
