I was a douche to do what I did the way I did. I made it about me, and not the 'con. That's inexcusable. The 'con was a rousing success, everyone had a great time, and I had no business sullying people on it simply because I feared what Maureen might do to my reputation.

It doesn't even matter if there was an attack my reputation. I had better methods available to me. I apologize. You deserved better than I gave. And for all the crap that happened that afternoon Sunday? I had a blast.

I don't know if the audio pickup got it on Jesse's tape, and he hasn't encoded it, but the first thing I did before yelling at Maureen in the pacific ballroom was thank her for the convention and what she'd done for the fans. At least I was polite enough to remember what she had just been through at the time.

And now that's all I have to say about that. If Maureen wants to clear the air with me, something I dearly wish she would do, she knows where to find me.

A step in the right direction... maybe there's hope for the guy I met yet...
