Going to do a full on report soon but for right now..
HIGHLIGHTS:
-Tomino himself defending the second movie of the trilogy, "Lovers".
The man himself was on hand for pre-movie intros that excplained what he felt during each flick. His explanation for "Lovers" made the movie a little more interesting. Still thought "Love is the Pulse of the Stars" was the best one of the three ^_^
-Girl asking about working for Sunrise.
One of the best questions actually, came from this girl who was really nervous and asked about how to go about working for Sunrise. His response was "Know the right time to pitch something" ^_^
-Tomino not knowing what to say when asked if Double Zeta still happens after the conclusion of the New Translation Trilogy.
When this question was asked, he just sorta stood there with this look on is face that said "Oh crap, I didn't think about this!" and with a smile, just said "....Um...I...don't know?"
MOMENTS I WANTED TO SLAP SOMEBODY OVER:
-That damned Turn-A Question.
In a turn of a events that would go down as a total waste of a question, some guy asked if Turn-A Gundam would ever be released in america. Sure everybody applauded at first but Tomino didn't have anything to do with that aspect.
To make it worse, he then proceeded to ask if two characters got together in the end and, for the piece du resistance, proceeded to shout "TURN-A!" to try and help the translator but ended up looking like he was shouting english to somebody who didn't speak it like a tourist.
-Faulty directions.
My friend and I misssed the first hour of "Heir to the Stars" because the directions led us somewhere completely difference than where we were supposed to be. Sure enough the University Auditorium wasn't its own building...rather it was inside another one -_-
And that's all I can think of for now, take care all.
