Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 2: Around 2

The second and third seasons were a joke. A big hack and slash joke.

Not only were the mecha battles cheesy and otherwise stupid looking, the entire premise was pretty lame.

"OH NOEZ! THEY DESTROYED THE DINOZORDS! WE NEED THUNDERZORD POWER NOW!!"

"OH NOEZ! THEY DESTROYED THE THUNDERZORDS! WE NEED NINJETTI POWERZ NOW!!!!!11"

....

Seriously, I would have perfered them just ripping the Dai and Kakuranger costumes than that. It would be a lot better than having "Aquitar Rangers" with the Fisher Price, badly made headpieces....

Having seen Dai, which is one of my favorite series (even taking Ko into account), I have to cringe mightily at the butcher job that was MMPR season 2.

Mecha go "clank"...monsters go "clank"...*CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK* :laugh:

I actually only really liked season 3 out of the first three. One was just...bad and boring, season two was a bit better but aside from the Zedd stuff and white light not all that great.

I loved the Houhou Ranger special episode where she becomes a Popstar!! :anime:

That's the best episode anyways! That's when Ryousuke Kaizu shows up as her love interest! :dance:

I agree with Mihara...Season 1 only had novelty going for it (at least for me since I didn't know Sentai and Toku before that). Season 2 - it was ok, and I remember liking it ok when I watched it while airing...but having seen Dairanger now...I have to say - I REALLY wish they had incorporated all the footage, not just mecha footage.

Anywho... I love Season 2 along with Jason, Trini and Zach. They all were awesome.

The last half of season 2 along with Rocky, Ashia and Adam.. they were pretty good but I didn't like Rocky that much. Doing nothing and not leader at all.

Season 2 were pretty good.

Tsk, tsk.... Rising Sun Ranger is gonna kick your butt.

Well, no I don't actually intend to kick his butt, I like MMPR Season 1, he sees MMPR Season 1 as "Bad and Boring", basically that doesn't mean much. We all have our different opinions. Only time I feel tempted to kick someone's butt is when this person calls me insultive names just for liking a tv show he doesn't, but that's more likely to be Michael Braunenstein than Mihara.

Ninja Storm I hate!! Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger was way better than that total wreckage of a show!! Infact I describe Ninja Storm as watching Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger through a ruined tape!! But I understand that there are people who like Ninja Storm, dunno why.. but that's justb a case of people with different opinions.

Easy...It wasn't a direct adaptation...oh wait...that's the smart answer.

Season two did have good episodes, but just not enough. The Mutiny was a GREAT start to the season, but once the wedding came around it just started to go downhill. It ruined what Goldar use to be. And the return of the Green Ranger was good, but it could have been better...mainly that zord fight.
