Megaranger seems underrated

I can see that MegaRed.
Well, I may be biased...
I loved MegaRanger. I liked whole "The Last Starfighter" type plot. I love video games.

Like Mattcomics said the recent red should be like Kenta. Best thing about the show.

What I like about MegaRanger was that is was a simple sentai to understand. It wasn't over the top like these recent ones have been.
Totally.

The 90s are pretty underrated.

Megaranger, along with Fiveman, Gingaman, and Gogo-V have been quite ignored.

Which is why these need to get subbed. A lot of fans need to know what each series has to offer. And watching a few episodes isn't going to grant the pinnacle of each show. Especially if it isn't subbed.

I think your right on the dot. Plus Fiveman is very underlooked. It's our first 90's Sentai! And it looked so throw back which was cool. I've seen a few episodes myself, but like you said I'm in no rush for it, but it needs to be subbed.

And if it was subbed I would be in a rush for more.

So it seems like subbing is the key.

IMO probaly the most noticeable sentai's in the 90's to most people are Jetman(good sentai, horrible ending), ZyuRanger(most people know why to this one), and Carranger(considering this because it saved the franchise.)

Toei needs to make another fantastic evil ranger group. But I think they are lazy on their part to do this.

Well, after seeing some RAWs posted up on youtube, I'll say that this show is pretty good. It had some great storylines, good characters, pretty cool monster-designs. I also think that Yugande looked and acted more badass than his PR counterpart Ecliptor.

You forget some pretty good music too.

I freakin love MegaSilver's theme.

I haven't completed Megaranger, but bought around half of the series on VHS years ago. What I saw of it I liked very much. The costume designs were great, the story seemed interesting, and I can't get enough of Shiborena!

Hopefully I'll be able to finish this show eventually. I'm especially interested in seeing the Nejiranger episodes.

Favorite MegaRanger episodes of mine
1st episode
8th episode
10th episode(a good episode about MegaBlue)
The Super Miku episode
19th episode(the way the episode was made it really cool)
23rd episode
25th episode
The episode that has the Pig Monster that says henshin. I like that song that Pig Monster was singing while in human form.
37th episode
38th episode(people will know why when they see this episode)
The rest of the show

This sentai stayed consistant. It was always good.

Carranger Saved the Sentai franchise?

Let me guess, it was too much on a long run of darkness for so many years? or was it because of the tragedy that F'd up Ohranger, in turn F'ing up Sentai as a whole?

I have just been watching Megaranger since TV-Nihon put up episode 7 today. I downloaded the 6 previous ones long ago, but never watched them since I knew the project was on hold. From what I have seen so far, I like it. It is great to finally see the real shows.

The American counterpart Power Rangers in Space was the last series for me. I really lost interest in Power Rangers after it. I'll be excited to see the rest of this series, and I would love to see Zyuranger - Megaranger to see the real stories, as well as Megaranger - Abaranger since I missed out on them. My only hope until I can learn Japanese is that these shows get subbed eventually.
