Jiahua leans against the boot of his BMW, playing with his zippo lighter. He looked up, searching for someone that he was supposed to meet, and then read his watch. Then he went back to playing with his zippo lighter. The venue of meeting was quiet, one reason is because it was a weekday. Another reason would be that Labrador Park isn't really accessible as there were no buses that travel to this part of the park, even on weekends. A black color Evo-Nine drove into the carpark at this moment and parked right beside Jiahua's car. A young lady, around 25 years old stepped out of the driver's seat and waved at Jiahua.
"Yo," she greeted as she closes the car door. Jiahua nodded in reply and kept his zippo lighter. "How are things?" she asked.
"Good, the Masked Riders have successfully defeated all threats that appeared so far...its been quiet since the end of the GERM case though," Jiahua replied. "Everything is going well, at least for now."
"I suggest we start producing cyborgs," the lady said as she folded her arms. Jiahua looked up at her. "The studies done by Tan Keng Tiong proved to be more useful, and that GERMS are more powerful then Unborn."
"This isn't wise, Sarah," Jiahua said, tossing his zippo lighter into the air and then catching it repeatedly. "How many people are willing to sacrifice their human lives to become something like the Masked Riders?"
"Humans don't have the ability to fight this battle," she replied, looking at the sea. "There are only a few Masked Riders..."
"And you intend to ask for support for this idea? It isn't wise, Sarah," Jiahua said and opened the car door. "I would prefer for humans themselves to try fight...and not depend on Masked Riders..."
"This is for the sake of humans," Sarah said, backfacing Jiahua. Jiahua grinned.
"Trust me, it isn't a wise decision," Jiahua said and boarded his car, and then drove away. Sarah turned around to see the white BMW drive out of the carpark. She had an undeciding look on her face. Then she sighed and walked back to her vehicle, wondering what to do next. There wasn't time left anymore...the invaders have already arrived...

Episode 1
***************************************************************************
A pack of spider like beasts darts through the forest, stopping every now and then, looking around for any signs of prey. One of them in the pack however, walked steadily on both its feet, holding on to a spear in its right hand. It had the same dark grey skin color as the rest of the pack, but had a gold and red color metallic necklace hung around its neck. It also has a red color half cloak that starts from its waist down to its legs at the back of its body. On its front waist laid a weird, but unique looking buckle with some ancient inscription. It looks up and sniffed the air, and then looks down for a while before moving forward.
***************************************************************************
Just as Sarah was about to board her car, a beeping sound came emitting from her pocket. She dug into her pocket and fishes out a small, pager like device with three LEDs on it; Green, Yellow and Red. The red LED was blinking. Sarah looked at the device with a frown on her face. Her eyes widened in shock before dumping it into the front seat of her car before jumping in quickly. The Evo9 sped out of the carpark at an illegal speed, creating screeching sounds as it made turns. Sarah took several nervous glances at the device, making sure that it was the red LED that was blinking. There was no mistake, it was the red one.
"They have arrived..." Sarah took another glance at the device before accelerating her car as it came to the main road, earning angry horns as she swerved in and out between the lanes. She drove expertly with one hand, as her other hand pressed several buttons on the GPS. The signal came from Mandai forest, a place frequently used for military training. She quickly reached towards the glove box. She pulls it open and took her USP out, puts it on the front seat, took the magazine out, and loads it.
***************************************************************************
At the forest, a series of gunfire accompanied by nervous commands and shouts was heard. A beast leapt down from the top of the tree, slapping a soldier in his face. The slap was so strong, it snapped the soldier's neck, killing him instantly! Three long bloody scars were drawn across the poor man's face. The other beasts jumped and leapt around towards the helpless soldiers who were armed with only blanks. Half of the training platoon had already been killed by the beasts as the soldiers tried to make their escape. Just as a beast was about to pounce on another soldier, a gun shot was heard as a bullet ricochet off the beast's cheek. The beast turned around at the direction of fire, setting its eyes on Sarah. Sarah squeezed the trigger repeatedly, hoping that it would be of use.
It was useless to say the least. The beast leapt towards her and spat something at her hand at the same time. Sarah tried to duck, but her right hand was being pulled out. She looked up and saw the end of a thick white rope being tied to her wrist. The beast jerks its head back a bit, pulling Sarah towards it. Sarah was pulled off her feet and falls to the ground heavily. She was dragged until she came to the feet of the beast which looked at her with its black eyes. Sarah stared back, lip biting and her fists clenched. Just as the beast was about to swing its claw down on her, an energy beam shot out of nowhere, burning the white rope and blasting the beast off at the same time. The beast crashed to the ground and took several tumbles, attracting attention from its mates, and leader.
A red mantis-like humanoid with heavy shoulder armour, and a huge crossbow on its right arm stood a distance away from them. Sarah stared at the humanoid, too shock to bat an eyelid. Before she knew it, the humanoid had leapt off from where it was standing, and landed right in front of her.
"Run," the humanoid said, back facing her, and then charged into battle. Sarah ran towards the remaining soldiers and helped them evacuate the casualties. Sarah looked back at the humanoid. She remembered seeing this humanoid somewhere a long time ago. Then she turned back and helps with the evacuation.
"Arch Slash!!" Arch roared as it charges through the group of beasts running at it, slashing his way through. The beasts all collapse to the ground behind him and bursts into flames, leaving two beasts and their leader, starring at him with their dead black eyes. Arch strikes his combat posture, ready for the second round of fight. But the beasts turned away and disappeared into thin air. Arch straightens up, and then reverts back to his human form. Basil looked into the skies immediately with a worried look. "It has begun..."
"You!" shouted a female voice from behind. Basil turned around sharply, his glare so fierce, that Sarah took a step back when he turned back. "Who are you?" Sarah demanded, her USP pointing at Basil who grinned as he looked down.
"You can put that away. If I can die under that kind of thing, I wouldn't be here at all," Basil replied. Sarah maintained the posture, and Basil sighed. Then he turned and walked away in another direction.
"Hold it right there!" Sarah shouted. Basil stopped and waited. "I...I think I have seen you before..." Sarah said. "Are you a Masked Rider?"
"You can consider me as one, if there are no other names you can think of," Basil said and then walked off. A confused yet relieved Sarah lowered her USP as Basil walks out of sight. She dug into her memories, all the way eight years ago, and she recalled. The battle at Esplanade, and the huge amount of monsters attacking. She had saw Arch fighting the Gargoyles that time. Sarah relaxed and smiled. There was a bit of hope after all.
***************************************************************************
Several patrol cars sped into the entrance of the area as Sarah and the surviving soldiers came into the clearing. A man wearing a white shirt being tucked out, and blue jeans hurried towards them. He noticed Sarah as he went forward and was surprised at a civilian being at such areas. Instead of walking towards the soldiers, he approached Sarah.
"ASP Lim," he said as he flashed his warrant at Sarah. "May I know who you are? And what are you doing at a military facility?" he asked. Sarah managed a quick glance before he brought the pass down. Gareth Lim Weiyang was the full name of this ASP. Sarah looked up at him, thanking lady luck at the same time. Gareth was surprised by her glare and waved his palm in front of her. "Miss?"
Sarah dug into her pocket and fished out a card. "Sarah Yap, CIA," she introduced herself. "Good to meet you in person, Masked Rider."
Gareth grinned and shrugged. "That was in the past. But how did you know?"
"I was there at the Esplanade that time," she replied. Gareth nods.
"But why is a CIA agent doing here?" Gareth asked. Sarah pointed to the forest briefly.
"Monsters have start appearing again," she said. Before Gareth could say anything, Sarah looked up and smiled. "I believe there is a better place where we can sit down and talk, right?"

Police Cantonment Complex
Sarah and Gareth stepped into Hongyun's office, where the current Deputy Commissioner welcomed her with a firm handshake. After the GERM war, Hongyun was promoted three times in a span of three years due to his outstanding performance.
"Sarah Yap, CIA," Sarah introduced herself.
"Deputy Commissioner Ng," Hongyun replied.
"Take a seat," Hongyun ushered as he stepped behind his table before sitting down. "So what is the reason for a CIA paying us a visit?" Hongyun asked. Sarah brings up the file she had brought along and handed it to Hongyun.
"Please have a look at this," Sarah said as Hongyun accepted the file. He flipped it open and started reading the contents. The more he read, the more serious his expression became. He took several glances at Sarah as he read the contents, making Gareth eager to know what is going on. Hongyun closed the file and puts it on the table.
"I hope you understand this is not going to happen just in Singapore, but all over the world," Sarah said in an urgent tone, slightly leaning forward.
"What is going on?" Gareth asked finally.
"You propose to have a team of 500 men; turned them into cyborgs; and assembled as a special task force to fight against these unknown entities?" Hongyun rubbed his chin. Sarah nodded firmly. Gareth grabbed the file and read it himself. "You can't expect me to execute a plan of such scale when there isn't any hard evidence to support the operation," Hongyun said. "Plus, who will want to give up their normal lives to become a Masked Rider?"
Gareth sighed and placed the file back on the table.
"What do you mean by unknown entities?" Gareth asked. Sarah shook her head.
"I have seen them. And also earlier at the forest, the soldiers were killed weren't they? Their existence is true, but we still do not know of their origins," Sarah replied. "Investigations are still going on as of now. According to our knowledge, they are highly intelligent beasts that have super human abilities. A fact is that they do not kill people blindly. They seem to target a certain group of people."
Hongyun leaned back into his chair, and Gareth took a deep breathe. Sarah could sense that they are not convinced.
"This is for the sake of mankind. Normal weapons won't work against them!" Sarah stressed. Gareth puts a hand up.
"I understand your point, that you hope to have an army of Masked Riders to fight this battle, right?" Gareth said. Sarah nods. 'And as a Masked Rider myself, I tell you, your plan won't be accepted," Gareth said. Sarah sighed and looked down in disappointment. "And if such a thing is going to happen...why didn't CIA make a worldwide announcement?"
"Knowing the human nature, announcing something like that will only cause more troubles for you and me. More cults, people who try to fight them, political troubles and so on," Sarah explained.
"I understand," Hongyun said, leaning forward with his hands on the table. "But there isn't anything we can do, unless we have hard evidence. As of now, your documents will be deemed insufficient." Sarah sighed and looked down. "But I will do what I can. For now, the cases of the dead soldiers will have to be covered up..."
***************************************************************************
Sarah stepped out of the lift lobby and walked towards her car slowly. She was disappointed. Not just the FBI have rejected her proposal, even the Singapore Police Force has also rejected her proposal. Before coming to Singapore, she had approached governments of different countries. But no one was willing to believe her. Just as she opens the car door, she noticed someone walking towards her. The tall man wearing a black coat over his white shirt, stops in front of her car. He is pretty built, and is quite tanned.
"I feel that your proposal is very interesting," he said wryly. Sarah looked at him suspiciously.
"Who are you?" she asked. The man smiled and handed Sarah a namecard. "Tay Ping Hui? PRICHE?"
"Piloting Revolution Inculcating Human Evolution," Ping Hui said. "We know about your idea of trying to build a cyborg army to protect humans. We know about the 'arrival'. Thus I would like to ask for your assistance."
Sarah didn't look convinced. "Do you know who I am?" Sarah smirked and dropped the namecard. Ping Hui laughed a bit nodded.
"Of course I know, CIA," he said.
"I can arrest you for having an illegal organisation and project," Sarah folded her arms and looked at Ping Hui who grinned.
"You won't. If you would, I wouldn't be here at all," Ping Hui replied. "Plus, illegal or not, it isn't that important at such a stage isn't it?"
Sarah looked away and took a deep breathe. No one was willing to accept her proposal, and now, someone comes to her asking for her assistance. Ping Hui interrupted her thoughts by stretching his hand out for a handshake. Sarah was reluctant. She is a CIA agent, she couldn't ally with an illegal organisation. She knew it, but her heart was telling her otherwise.
"Please, for the sake of human's future," Ping Hui said in a firm, sincere tone. With that, Sarah stretched her hand out.

A young man in his early 20s, hurried towards the lift lobby of the apartment block. He was wearing a red and black color tshirt with the word 'Pizza Hut' on the left chest pocket. He was holding onto a bag that contained the food ordered by the customer. He entered the lift and pressed the number five button. As soon as the lift reached level three, the lights went off and the lift stopped moving.
"No way..." he moaned and pressed the alarm button. "Damn!" he cursed. After a few minutes, the lift started moving again, much to his relief. The door opened at level five, and he hurried out. Very quickly, he delivered the order and walked back to the lift. He stepped into the open lift door and pressed the door close button. He suddenly felt something land behind him heavily. He spun around in shock, and then yelled.
The lift door opened at level one, with no one except the delivery bag and motorcycle helmet in it. The young man was gone.
***************************************************************************
Sarah and Ping Hui walked along a dim and long corridor.
"This isn't part of the agreement!" Sarah said angrily. "I thought the idea was to recruit people willingly for the operation, and not just kidnap anyone like this!"
"How many people will volunteer?" Ping Hui replied. "Not many. And we don't have the time to wait."
Sarah shook her head in disappointment as they came to a glass panel. Beyond the glass panel was a huge operation hall, filled with the best surgery, and science equipments. At the end of the hall, a large logo hung on the wall. It was a logo of a palm that seem to be wrapping the Earth up with its fingers. The full form of PRICHE was craved along the lower curve of the Earth logo. In the middle of this huge hall laid an operation table with a young man that was kidnapped.
"Don't worry, with the kind of technology we have, we will make sure he forget everything before today," Ping Hui said. At this moment, the group of scientists in the room, responsible for the operation started their work. Sarah watched as one of the scientists cuts open the body of the young man, and then place a futuristic belt into the waist of the body.
***************************************************************************
The Spider Child stood in the middle of the park, with the Spider beasts around him. On the ground laid several dead bodies. They had launched attack on the public. Just as they were about to move on, a bike raced into the park and stopped in front of them. The beasts looked at the rider, who had bug like eyes and two antennas on its head. The dim lighting of the park did not allow the rider's features to be seen clearly. The rider looked up at the beasts with its dark eyes, which suddenly flashed in bright red light.
