Masked Rider on DVD!

There were. From Battle Fever J to Sunvulcan.

Yes, Marvel was supposedly involved with those shows, but...their name is absent from the OP & ED credits of those shows, which I find weird. You can easily spot their credit in the OP of Spiderman, of course, but not those other shows.

They only (supposedly) had a hand in Battle Fever J, Denjiman and Sunvulcan. The Marvel credits are obvious in Spiderman, but I don't recall seeing any mention of Marvel in the credits to those sentais. I'd imagine they had to give some sort of blessing to Battle Fever J since it was inspired by Captain America.

Hmm...I wonder if there's a J.K. Rowling credit in Magiranger...if not, she has a lawsuit!

No...No she doesn't

And you seem to be mistaken

Magiranger is a GOOD story

Harry Potter is not, never was , never will be

JK Rowling should be dragged out of her home and publicly beaten to a bloody pulp

That's going a little far. Granted it'd not for everybody, I enjoy the books a lot myself personally

Japanese Spiderman was made with Marvel's blessing and assistance. It was at this time Marvel also had a hand in making Sentai (up to Battle Fever J). Marvel thought it would be a nice to have a different variation of Spiderman, but it was not a hack job. It's like instead of taking footage they made their own story. It also didn't hide the fact that there's an original Spiderman in the US.

Doesn't PR credit the Japanese sentai source everytime it airs?

They didn't credit Kakuranger for MMPR season 3 or MMAR for that matter...the only time Kaku was credited was in the "Power Playback-Funniest Moments" special hosted by JYB.

PS: Why do they call Zyurangers, Galaxy Rangers????

MMPR 3... what did they credit? And wasn't MMPR 3 mostly American made by then?

As for MMAR... that lasted a week or two at best.

Why Zyu was Galaxy... good question, that I bet there's not a good answer out there for. I'm betting they didn't really care at the time. They were pretty dead set and positive the show would flop like I thought it was going to and so did critics.

Next thing they know they've got hug sucess on their hands and only later found that they'd made something special. After that, gave due props to the source.

True...but still MMPR was still using Kaku Monsters, Mecha Footage, not to mention Master Vile (who was Kaku's main villain, Daimou; except less menacing).

PS: Even though MMAR was a 10 ep side arc...they used the Kaku footage. And people wonder why FreedomRed uses the quote: "HOW THE **** DO YOU GET FISH FROM NINJAS?!"

All I have to say...PR is 0-2 with ninjas...1-1 with dinosaurs...

I say that's getting too serious and specific.

They give proper credit or at least try to, but their main focus is producing a show and not revising their credits everytime they mix and match, which was done a lot from MMPR 2 - 3.

Since the beginning for years they've been good about giving credit and props to even doing a special. That they missed a couple of weeks of what hardcore Sentites might consider not giving proper credit is small potatoes against a bigger picture and good track record.

As for Fish Ninjas.... ugh... don't even ask me. While you guys may attribute it to being PR sucking in general, therefore, a stupid decision was made... I say more specifically, the people at the time who made the decision, just sucked and didn't know what they were doing.

Had this been Judd Lynn and in the PRiS-PRWF era, we probably would've seen something more fitting.
