So it does look like it's going to be pretty terrible. On the bright side, the game looks really fun

It's not like it's made for the 9-14 year old age range. I think Marvel should have Teen Titanized The Avengers for Cartoon Network rather than make this slop. Teen Titans had an appeal to it that not only allowed for great sotries , but for darker ones as well as the series progressed. This ,however ,reminds me of Kamen Rider SD, but retardified for the so-called "dumb" kids of today.

Heck, when I was in Eighth Grade and had First Grade buddies( a long standing tradition at my Elementary school), they obviously knew which shows were good like Spongebob, Power Rangers , and maybe Avatar, but I'm not sure on that one.


Kids have more intelligence than what they get credit for , as seen with the success of Transformers , Dragonball , Batman ,and various other kids programs. Yet the studios are afraid of irresponsible parents tyhat do not go after their children from watching unsuitable content.

Here's an example. When the dreadfully shitty Halloween II film was over and the people all getting out of the theaters, I saw a 5 year old with her two parents coming down from the top seats to get out of the theater.
Why would anyone in their right mind let their child watch a gorefest (and a shitty one at that) when their 5? My parents and Grandmother were responsible enough to not let me even see certain films until I got old enough, and I'm glad about that,(although I did see The Patriot for my History class, but that's educational purposes.)

My point is , if a parent does not want their child to watch that show or film, don't complain about it whatsoever because the parent, not the government ,should raise their child and turn off the TV or change the channel. You cna even block certain rated programs these days ,which leaves no excuse at all .

Captain America sounds like Major Glory from Dexter's Lab and kinda acts like Major Glory, too. And Silver Surfer sounds like Valhallen the mighty god of rock (also from Dexter's Lab). With the Hulk, you don't know what's he gonna say and that's what makes him so fun.

They can deal with it anyways ,because most things at Marvel are grim dark emo stories about epic doomsday scenarios where every hero kills each other or like the Civil War bull crap which sets more shockwaves then when Kanye West goes through his spasms. This is this generation's childhood ,not theirs ,so they can shove it.

That's why I only read the Ultimate Marvel storylines. They are sort of dark , but not so dark that someone dies each day and rises from the dead like Jesus Christ I.E. Captain America. The marvel today are like Soap Operas these days and need desperate improvement. I hope Disney puts some of the Pixar writers for the comics because they need to improve or whither.

I saw the show, and I retract my statement about it being slop. It reminds me of the Dexter Lab hero parodies of long ago. It does give them some time away from those emo stories.

A lot of those afore-mentioned series arent very "emo" at all...there's drama, but there's also an uplifting message. Not at all like Marvel comics (outside the Ultimate Universe, which, as you say, can have angst in one issue but doesnt occupy itself with it the following two or three months)

I'm not even sure this will last beyond one season. FF didnt, but was only twenty-five episodes away from a full syndication deck anyway, so it wouldnt have mattered.

Those shows would do better on a network that has more exposure like ABC Kids ,The Disney Channel or XD.

Fantastic Four was doomed from the start when CN kept fooling with the show's schedule, while Spectacular Spidey was screwed by the switchover by channels. Wolverine could be put on the Disney Channel or Abc Kids along with the others because they would be better.

I wasnt even talking about the comics. I was referring to the critics of SHS accusing Marvel of "raping their childhoods" when half their branded products lately are more or less true to what they would like to see.
