[Manga] Return To Labyrinth

SaikoDragon

It's Judgement Time!
Has anyone checked this out? Just heard of it today; It's a short, manga-series sequel to the 1986 movie Labyrinth (with David Bowie as Jareth the Goblin King).

Apparently it takes place 13 years after the movie and follows Toby. I'm pretty shocked I never heard of it until just now. :eyebrow:

I'm a huge fan of the movie, but I haven't read this manga. I was tempted to, until I read how so many people disliked it.

Um yeah unless you like shonen-ai or yaoi I doubt you will like it. The plot centers on the goblin king kidnapping Toby to do.... things to him. I can only explain it that much without gagging.

are you serious??? O_o; I just cant imagine that at all.

Not as explicet as you might think, but yeah, Toby is made the new goblin king after the orginal watched him and granted every wish Toby desired and lets just say the art dosn't look as good as the cover and the manga read like bad fan fic. I wouldn't recomend it if your looking for the same type of movie but I wil say if your looking for something CLOSE to a sequel check out Mirrormask it's by the Jim Henson company and deals a lot with the same issues as Labyrinth and is very good if your in the right mood.

You know I remember the trailer for Mirrormask. Wanted to check it out but never got a copy. I'll have to check the rental place.
