I've downloaded the 11 episodes and I have yet to watch the series! Although I hear these great things from you guys, I still have my doubts...I mean, c'mon, the Pink Ranger turning into a fan???

It's not like she turns into a fan every episode.
If you let one little thing like that turn you off from the series... :nono:

Magi does have it's WTF? moments but I still find it enjoyable.

the fan thing fits her personality...think of it as Live action anime (regards to Houka-chans character)

I found Houka slightly unattractive when I first saw her in pictures but I've changed my mind since seeing her in action. Some of her transformations are iffy but she is a very pretty woman. I really noticed it in the ep when she was trying to help Kai fall in love.

He's probably referring to this:

Among the many 'issues' that KR has, one is that he doesn't seem to be able to accept that there are western people outside of TVN that have at least basic understanding of the Japanese language.
