Machiko Soga has passed away

[The 2nd Evil]

She was in Maskman, too?

[Tao Zanto]

I'm very saddened to hear of this, she will be sorely missed.

My personal favorite thing she did was an interview/Zyuranger preview [along with Reiko Chiba] on one of the early 1990s laserdiscs of "Super Sentai Heroines"[?]. My impression was that she was an actor who had a lot of fun with whatever roles she played, and who acted not merely for a paycheck, but for the sheer love of doing it.

If anyone should have this interview, would it be possible to upload it somewere for all to see?

[ForeverRed]

R.I.P. :bawling:

I enjoyed all of the work in Tokusatsu I saw her do, from Gavan to Maskman to Zyuranger to Magiranger. Rest in Peace.

**starts up Bandora theme song**

Wait... she was in Maskman? :eyebrow:

[BoukenRed]

Forget that , she was in GAVAN!? o_o;

Anyways , though I mainly remember Machiko Soga from the Zyuranger footage used in MMPR , I also recall that she was a very good actor in Zyuranger And Magiranger , and I will miss seeing her act , she was one of the all time greatest Tokusatsu actresses , Rest in Peace.

A tremendous loss for the toku community in general. May she rest in peace.

[ShadowRider]

She's the main reason I'm interested in seeing Denziman, and Sun Vulcan. I've always loved her as Rita, and even more as Bandora (from what little I've seen of Zyuranger). It's very sad that she's gone from this world.

[Impulse87]

she's lived a good life, may she rest in peace. :bawling:
