I'm gutted to see the UK only scrape 9 points in this year's Eurovision Song Contest. It feels like we've been languishing at the bottom of the leaderboard for donkey's years, while other countries are popping the champagne and living it up. We've had some cracking performances in the past, and I was really hoping we'd finally turn it around this year, but alas, it was not to be.

It's hard to watch other countries smash it when we're struggling to make any impact at all, but I suppose that's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.
